ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

munna isme peechey ki aage ..

he is so slow, whats the point standing back

on a wicket like this am sure that yusuf 's bowling would of been useful

I think you need to calm down a bit man. Dont let 'em nerves jangle so much.

I think more than anything the reason for me personally to be so frustrated is how impotent we look with our bowling. It's a complete snorefest, sitting and hoping the batsman make mistakes. It was the case against England, it was the case against South Africa and even Windies until they had mental spaz-attacks. Australia have barely broken a sweat and are scoring really freely. It grates me that an Indian team AT HOME looks so poor with their bowling.

The way things are going it looks like its going to be Australia all the way. They have 9 wickets in hand after 20 overs and have a run rate of more than 5 runs a over.

Trust our supreme bowling attack to get Pointing back in form. We're the only bowling side that can get him to a century these days it would seem.

Everybody needs to calm down. Things are going reasonably according to plan.

Given Australia's bowling, i'd back the Indian batting line-up to chase 300. The quicks will be easy to get off on this pitch. Its the spinners and the part-time dibbly dobblies that are more difficult to score off.

We shouldn't dismiss Australia's bowling attack that easily. I mean Lee and Johnson are good bowlers. If we can get through the first couple of power plays without losing two many wickets, then we have a good chance of chasing a target of 275.

How is munaf in the team purely as a bowler?

He can't field and he can't bat.

As for 300, don't underestimate Australia pace attack and the pressure well face batting second.

How does Munaf get into the Indian team? Is there something I'm missing because for a strike bowler he seems very ordinary.

True but this is the kind of pitch you'd prefer to play against pace.

I'm surprised they haven't made the bowling change yet. Zaheer for the reverse swing and Harbhajan for Ponting is what i'd go with.

One more thing to crib about. Why as a team have we bowled so short?

Well Praveen Kumar is injured, Nehra is unfit, Ishant and Sreesanth is crap. He is not there on merit but just due to lack of options.

Zaheer and Harbahajan have what ten overs between them? We will need them close to the end of the 40th over.

Wow what turn!

Sachin could always turn the ball. If he had worked hard on his bowling he could have been a lot better in this respect. Only problem is the control.

Fair enough, haven't seen Ishant play for a long time but he looked one hell of a talent when he first came into the side, I remember him making Ponting look like an amateur in one game.
