Thing is, other than the odd international tournament, none of the associate teams play against any international teams throughout the year (against test playing nations) which basically means by the time the next international tournament comes about, its back to square one for these teams.
More tri-nation tournaments should be held through the year including associate nations and the regular test playing one to ensure steady and continual progress.
