ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Dhoni and Yuvi to get centuries.

Indian fans for the past two years: 'Kohli is no longer weak when the ball the swings outside his off stump'

So, about that?

Great batting from Pak but India can also up the tempo considering we have batting depth. The pitch looks amazing for batting! it's the Pak bowlers vs Indian batsmen now!
Wasn't aware you were Indian. Which part of India?

Amir - what a bowler. Azhar Ali happier than Amir with that wicket.

India need to consolidate - they still have a ton of batting to come.

Oh yeah dhawan is still in there too, he's been in great knock. Quick fire century coming.

India need to rebuild. They've got the power hitters for the end. Next 10 overs are huge for both sides.

England fans for the past 2 years. This is the best England team with deep batting lineup and top notch bowling. And that?

Shit happens.

Have to enjoy a big  @ Kohli. Gives me deep genuine pleasure to see him fail so spectacularly

Pakistan are capable of just getting on a roll and becoming unstoppable.

It's one of the most thrilling sights in all sport.

The target doesn't give much leeway though. You can't have a very quiet 10 odd overs and still hope to chase it down especially with the middle order short on match practice. That's why I said our chase will be decided by the top 3, the middle order just hasn't played enough to chase down this score vs Pakistan's bowling.

I thought you said you were a neutral?
with the teams yes. You know, I lived in India during the Ganguly years and loved that team.

Can't stand Kohli as a personality though. Undoubted best player in the world right now, but a twatish person. So it's nice to see him fail when everyone was giving it so large about him coming into this game.

I'm no cricket expert...but, how many batsmen aren't suspect to swinging deliveries at 145km/h and while still relatively new at the wicket?

Oh it's not an easy skill don't get me wrong, but you can cope by leaving the ball well and playing straight. He poked at one and then tried to work one into the leg side from outside off, you can't do that when the balls moving.

Incredible by Amir this spell.

@sammsky1 being salty about Bangladesh getting thrashed last game and most games against India
not salty at all. India are the bully boys of world cricket. They should spank everyone.

Which is why Pakistan's performance today is astonishing. And India fans meltdowns.

You can't also leave balls. At the line you have to play at it most times.
The first one was too good from Amir. Kohli couldve played the second one straighter though

Sometimes you have to give credit to the bowler. No batsman has a 100% success rate. Also need to take into account the circumstances of the game.

Anyway -- well done Pakistan.

I see a few Pakistanis here trying the reverse jinx, but we're done. We have an aging middle order and it's definitely not good enough to chase 340.

Not sure about all time, but given the context, quality of Pakistan batsmen and the opposition it's definitely up there with Pakistans best odi innings of all time.

Meltdown? Most posters here seem ok with it. Sad but nothing like a meltdown

Personally I'm only upset that Mushfiqur Rahim will take this as a personal win

Seriously? They scored 250 odd in 1992 wc final.

you're ok with being humiliated.

Okie then. Good one.
