I fancy an upset tomorrow. Imagine a Bangladesh, Pakistan final.
India will roll over Bangladesh and pakistan, They are just too strong.

India may start favourites but it won't be a surprise If Bangladesh win.
In English conditions I rate Bangladesh seam attack more than India's plus their batsman are in as good form as India's.
Of course India remain the bully boy of sub continent cricket (they should be given their cricket heritage, size of population and huge financial resources!) but being favourites brings it's own kind of pressure. I vividly remember Yuvraj losing his nerve in the 2015 T20 final which cost India the title vs Sri Lanka.
If Bangladesh get into the game and have India under pressure, let's see how India respond.
I remember last time before a match with Bangladesh about a player having Dhoni's head. The media here were having a fit and trying to act like we had this huge historical rivalry with them. Then they lost the match due to some umpire error and even more hand bags followed. I loved how the Indian media was telling their counter parts that it was a game, as if they wouldn't have that sort of meltdown..
Wonder if there is any kind of similar build up this yr!!
I've seen some pics of a Tiger wrapped in Bangladesh's flag chasing a dog wrapped in India's but I'm not sure if it's Bangladeshis being thick or Indians making them look like it.
In 03, it wasn't all about Sachin though. Ganguly had 3 100s that tournament, Zaheer took like 20 wickets. I was very young but I still remember us absolutely destroying SL, England and NZ like they were nothing. All three got out for barely 150 iirc

Ganguly's three hundred came all against non test playing countries I think. Namibia and Kenya twice.
Agree bro, i was just pointing out imo it's the best i've seen Sachin play in a WC.
Ya me too.. I mean they are a good side and can defeat us, but playing them just doesn't make the match interesting.. Like playing against Pak and Aus.. For me,I would say matches against England,Pak, WI and Aus elicit more interest.. NZ and SL at a lower level.. Bangladesh after that..Yes, I have seen that too. The point is I don't think there is a rivalry to be honest - It's all one-sided. Pakistan is to India what Scotland is to England these days (once a great rivalry) and Bangladesh is like Wales - they have reached the Asia cup finals, defeated us in a bilateral series and have beaten England, SA and India in recent memory. They are not minnows anymore.
It's an honour for India just to face Bangladesh, to think of winning would be farfetched.Big game for us, obviously it's nothing more than match practice for India, I'll consider it a victory if we get more than 2 wickets.
No no no Akshay! India are miles ahead of Bangladesh, our pacers aren't fit to lace Bumrah's shoes and our batsmen? Our batsmen wouldn't make a reserve side in the Ranji Trophy. It's an honour for India just to face Bangladesh, to think of winning would be farfetched.
Ok you win this round (after all, Indians can't hope to compete with Bangladeshis )No no no Akshay! India are miles ahead of Bangladesh, our pacers aren't fit to lace Bumrah's shoes and our batsmen? Our batsmen wouldn't make a reserve side in the Ranji Trophy.
would rather listen to sehwagPersonally it'd be an honour to get the sound of Athar Ali Khan in my ears. What a legend!
Very true. He starts ultra negative and defensive and wastes too many deliveries. After that, he either gets dismissed stupidly or plays some prime text book cricketTamim has gone from looking absolute shit to playing like Brian Lara.
Tamim has been in fine form, not surprising he's getting runs.
oh well, he's set the innings up though. Good knock. Thanks mate.
