Spoony
The People's President
I've only played around 10-15 games on it. Which could be the reason why it's still in working order.
I have, I bought my PS3 in the middle of July, it worked fine for two weeks, I brought it back to Poland, it wouldn't work for more than 10 seconds at first and then it refused to work at all.
I still haven't got one
Did it actually work at all after you transported it, if not, then you can probably conclude its was down to a clumsy baggage handler or poor packing by yourself.
A possible user fix is for you too replace the hard drive.
I carried it in the same box I bought it in which can hardly be a reason for it breaking down. Had it been the reason, we would have seen plenty of cases where PS3 bought straight from the store is dead.
So you kept it with you as hand luggage?
PS3's or other electrical items that are transported usually come in bulk in a larger padded box and are unboxed when they arrive at the store.
Yes, it was one of my two hand luggages.
I know, but people still buy it at the store and carry it home exactly the same way I did at the airport and they are hardly ever broken.
I have some sony headphones. The feckers keep falling apart. Suspect glueing?
Mines fine now, it went through a phase where it just would not load LittlebigPlanet, but one time after turning on my PS3 it asked me to reformat the ps3 or something along those lines and now it works fine.
What does Restoring the file system do?
