Jenas definitely doesn’t like Man United not sure why.
He’s a Spurs man. A lot of them got giddy with their good times under Poch whilst we were in decline, after years of being a laughing stock compared to us with Fergie.

His continual use of ‘Trent’ was so irritating.

As for the ‘soft free kick’ nonsense  clear a free kick as you’ll get.

He should be limited to the tedious show I saw the other day where a bunch of C list pundits sit watching screens and no-name host chatted through the FA cup action, with occasional chat if something was going on in their game.
So basically, the fa cups very own soccer Saturday ?

So in short, United digs deep into it's roots and culture to hire a ex-player without much experience as a manager, who listens to other football men rooted in the traditional culture of our club, takes us from 6th to 1st in a season and a half. Gets ridiculed. Klopp digs deep into his connection to the club and ask bitter english media pundits for advice and ends up buying trash players and looking like a twat on tv regurgitating conspiracy theories made up by his pundit friends to get referees on their side. Still manages to take them from 1st* to 6th*. Stay true to the culture Liverpool. Still not too late for Liverpool to eat Klopp alive.
I think utd were very bold in appointing ole, but what I think Oles done that previous ones havent bar LVG, is bring in UTD men with him Phelan ,Carrick, etc. And I was very glad he did that, Moyes moved them all out, bad idea. Phelan knows the club inside out. Carrick and Mcenna are showing along with Fletch who's just come in, that they are very good coaches. Klopp has proven record in Germany that hes good coach, but his teams dont last, they stagnate, if FSG do not back him in market he will be eaten by liverpool. I can see him moving on maybe next season or season after that, because most clubs have suffered this year. Pool more than others as FSG will prioritise there 1st money maker Boston redsox, Baseball will have there cash 1st.

Rio doing his best to re-address the balance on BT tonight, continually asking Humphries who was top of the league :)

Can someone shoot Jonathan Wilson out of fu*king cannon into the sun, please?

I've never gotten into his arcane knowledge about some 1970s Hungarian team's fancy tactic they used which is now somehow relevant to today's game.

I'm sure some people get a kick out of his schtick, but having listened to him on various podcasts he's just a fuc*king geeky bore.

And his pieces on OGS this year are trash....probably should've just said that at the start really and left it at that.

News accumulators 80% negative anti-United click bait

Iused to use newsnow but just silly, the crap headlines they put up. Clearly what ABUs want to read or believe.

Dont even know where to look these days. Here, and one or two other Utd forums are best for a balanced view afaik

Sky headlining that Lingard is better off without United. Probably true, now. Doesn’t bother giving the back story.

Sky Sports headlines throughout the match..... Factual perhaps but a perpetual joke.

Under strength Gunners take on Man Utd
Weakened Arsenal taking game to Utd
Gunners on top against Utd
Man Utd held by under strength Gunners

Just won 9-0 and the first thing they’re talking about in the studio on BT is how shit VAR is and how “flat” the result feels

I f**king love it!!! Its the only way of knowing you're on the right track

Presenter on BT says let’s hope Liverpool close the gap as he tells us the next set of fixtures and now we’re not getting a positive word said about us.

9-0 is a Premier League record equalling score. The media would be creaming themselves if anyone else had got that, but instead BT, including former Southampton manager Glenn Hoddle, couldn't stop whining about the second red card. As if it affected the overall outcome ffs! For me, a bigger injustice was when Romeu committed an awful foul on Greenwood last season and escaped punishment, when they held us to a 2-2 draw, but unsurprisingly the media made little of that.

Ya imagine if Liverpool had did it , creaming themselves over Thiago , Salah and Mane :wenger:

It's always a good sign. Ridiculous coverage tonight. If nothing else it might have been nice to actually discuss some of our goals for a few minutes. Poor Rio was baffled.

Absolutely mad to spend so much time discussing the second red, which was irrelevant, and questioning the penalty, which was stonewall, when not one pundit bothered to seriously question the fact that against Sheffield we were totally fecked by having the Maguire-to-Martial goal marked off for an invisible foul, while their opener was allowed despite De Gea being rugby tackled.

I’ve said on here a thousand times he’s a Liverpool fan masking himself as a Norwich fan. Rio knows it, and keeps calling him out. He is an embarassment.

Yeah you wanna see The Sun's report about the game who are visibly sick to their guts, there was definitely more praise when Leicester dished out the same beating to them last season but who cares because it's proof we are hated. In fact if memory serves me right there was a early red card for that one to Bertrand but yet reported very differently

It was that Romeu incident which made me start this thread!

That still boggles my mind

Yeah Rio called him out on air for the Utd hate and you could see he didn't know what to say

Feeky said it best, I can't find his @ anymore.

BT in general has always felt pretty ABU to me, more so than the other broadcasters.

Who said that?
I think he’s called Jake Humphrey or something, seemed terribly glum that we battered Southampton and just wanted to talk about VAR, as if it was on a knifes edge when we got that penalty at about 6-0.

I pretty much pointed out the same thing in the post match thread, all they seemed to be interested in was VAR but hey! It’s clearly pissing the media off which is a good thing, although someone did kindly point out to me that the Telegraph said we were ruthless...which was nice.

Ward Prowse’s first corner De Gea was fouled in exactly the same way as the Sheffield United first goal. This week it’s given as a foul!

Of all that’s been said, this takes the biscuit.

He’s literally been telling forwards that’s the thing to do for years. The thing he always did. But the game has officially gone now.

BT rightfully getting a massive amount of stick all across social media for their coverage after the game tonight. Shocking stuff.
Deservedly so, they were embarassing. Us winning that big went against their narrative it would seem.

In a game where we totally clinically destroyed a team, the summing up of things was a late poor penalty decision. Can't even just point at Owen for the idiocy as so many "ex pros" are at it

The anti United stance shown after the game last night and this morning by the media. We win 9-0, this has happened 3 times in nearly 30 years of the PL, yet any praise for our performance is overwritten by the interpretation of a VAR decision! You would think from the coverage that 9-0 score lines happen every week whilst poor refereeing decisions happen 3 times in 30 years!

The problem seems to be that so few of these presenters/pundits are able to actually analyse a game and notice things which are worthy of discussion, so its easier to pick a comfortable topic (ie a controversial incident) and throw their opinions around for 45 minutes.

Reading the comments on the BBC articles this morning, it's all hanging on the penalty and that Southampton have been "done". There's no mention that it was 6-0 at the point in which that happened. Do they think the 7th goal unjustly killed the game, and they were ripe for pulling 6 back with 20 minutes to go?

Either this man is off the reserve of he's so desperate for social media interactions and engagements that he doesn't mind looking deranged.

He's right. Once Martial - the only diver in football - stops diving, then football will be rid of diving forever. We're so close.

I assume he makes similar tweets directed at serial divers such as Kane, Salah, Vardy etc?
