Changed my mind, too many folk praising them. feck Brighton.
Spot on. We could and should have won, but lost in a pretty comical way.Brighton didn’t even play well. No game raising happened. United just gifted them the game.
We are the problem not them. Brighton are a properly run unit.
Nothing to dislike, a brilliant club. How can anyone dislike Brighton? They may be our bogey team for now but they play some lovely football.
This is the correct answer. Brighton pretty average, but if we give them a gift like that, then we get what we deserve. It wasn’t really Brighton. That is the most asleep I have seen a defense in a long time. They left half the goal wide open. Two Brighton players could have easily scored there. That moment of the game was shocking.
I don't think it was bad luck that cost you the game. It was poor management starting with the team selection, followed by the substitutions . Brighton were better managed, had a game plan & made smart substitutions.Another day we win that game. Was just unlucky. ETH doesn’t help with his ridiculous subs. Keep Fernandes on… he’s most likely to contribute to a winner than Mctominay.
Ye I agree with what you’re saying but I also think it was a bit of bad luck. We was the better team the first half and had that Garnacho shot went in and not hit Zirkzee then we’d be in front and be able to control the game better. We wouldn’t have lost if we went 2-1 up.I don't think it was bad luck that cost you the game. It was poor management starting with the team selection, followed by the substitutions . Pretty embarrassing thread. Too many of you have turned into the Liverpool fans you so roundly (and deservedly) mocked during the glory years under Sir Alex, blaming your impotence on conspiracies and the other team trying too hard ("game raising cnuts" is a particularly embarrassing insult to level at Brighton, as well as being inaccurate).
At least I haven't seen any poetry yet.
In a nutshell. But this happens whenever (insert team) beat us. The problem is United- not other teams. The only thing I might say is that teams do seem to try harder against United than other teams. That’s definitely a hangover of the Glory years, other clubs still like to think they’re beating a great United side. They’re aren’t.How can anyone dislike Brighton? They may be our bogey team for now but they play some lovely football.

It’s very, very, very easy.
Sadly accurate.Brighton didn’t even play well. No game raising happened. United just gifted them the game.
United yesterday reminded me of Chelsea actually, where teams don’t need to work particularly hard to get a goal against us.
Who all? The five people who support Brighton?Oh this is gloriously tin pot. I absolutely LOVE it!
You’ve given us all a good laugh. Thank you!
Needs to be about 15 verses longer and 400% more sincere. If I can't picture you crying in full kit in your childhood bedroom at 40 years old, is it even poetry?United are red
Brighton are blue
How did we feck up this too
not the hardest start to be fair, Everton a mess and United just being United, good looking team though, Pedro looks like he could be quality and I expect O'Reilly to do really well, will contribute goals and assistsI put a cheeky tenner on at 200-1 - I’ll never see it again but it was fun!
