How will you remember Pogba's time at United?

Luxury player we overspent on and became obsolete the moment Bruno walked in the door.

Sanchez, Falcao, di Maria, Pogba.

Will be mentioned in the same breath as these once he's out.

In short, very overrated luxury midfielder. Had his moments of brilliance but apart from that he was most of the time a liability. For me, the worst trait is him dwelling on the ball and losing possession in dangerous areas.

Getting dispossessed, limping, hitting the post in his early years. Some nice through balls to Ibra. Missing large parts of the season, seems to get injured when the internationals end and comes back when they're due to start.

Super passer of the ball.

Looking at the big games he performed in and who against, I can only remember him doing well against Chelsea at OT consistently.
But he never performed against Arsenal, Liverpool and City, minor one half of football which is abit overhyped in most ways as Matic and Herrera were just as influential, arguably more, than Pogba himself.
Never did it in the CL for us either.

He probably played his last game already, he is leaving, we discussed him to the death. I hope Caf moves on from Pogba

A wet fart.

Had the odd moment (never over a full 90…actually never even over 45 minutes) but overall incredibly average, a pisstaker and it’s a disgrace he wasn’t fecked off sooner after some of the shite he’s spouted about the club.

Has all the talent but not the application.

Three years too late.
This is just nonsense. He came back from injury 2nd half against Milan (or Roma) in the europa and changed the game. Then there's also that City game and a few others.

He's been shit a lot of times, but he definitely had his highs (good games and halfs).

I’ll remember him as one of the few decent footballers we’ve had in the last 6 years but also that he’s been a bit of a twat. A colossal waste for him and Man United ultimately. I also wouldn’t expect things to magically get better just because he’s gone, we’ll have to sign a very good player to replace him.

A very big dissapointment, some highs and flashes of brilliance and one or two good runs of form aside.

An epitomy of all that is wrong with the team really, shows up when he wants to which is very often, more often than not fairly disinterested and unwilling to do any dirty work. Quite happy to take huge sums of money from the club and go through the motions though. For every time dies something that makes you wow that was good there are 5 other occasions where you what the feck was that.

A world class talent that slowly dawned on you that needed a very exact set of circumstances to thrive.

Missed a lot of games, agent drama, haircuts, dabbing, and a few good moments along the way, amidst loads of underwhelming ones.

Will not miss the signature move of holding it too long in a dangerous position, losing it and opponents stampeding through on goal.

A huge waste. He either doesn't have the football intelligence or doesn't care enough to play as anything other than a luxury player. I'm looking forward to moving on from him.

A wasted opportunity, talent wise he's probably the best product from the academy since class of 92. He's blessed with talent and physicality, but he got here in our worst time. Never really worked neither for him or us.

Hopefully I don't remember it at all. There was nothing of note, he showed a spark 30 different times, and then followed it up with 1438563 performances that were 4/10. He convinced me that we should never buy a player for big money ever again, pre-Maguire. Might as well fail with 15m midfielders so at least the economics don't hurt us.

A waste. Looked decent enough early on when we were a good side but as soon as we started failing he gave up, aside from the odd cameo here and there

Disappointing. Huge talent but was never really arsed to give us his all. I think he defines this era for united of talented players who have a casual attitude and never really challenge themselves to be the best they can be.

I’ll remember him as the epitome of everything that’s been wrong with this club over the past few years

Overpaid, overhyped, PR driven, pointless signing.

Great guy, didn't work out here, incredible that he will leave this club for free twice in his career. Better off for all parties involved. Shambles of a transfer overall but I blame United far more than I do him, he at least got this club a Europa league trophy and was the player of the tournament, you can't say that about too many of these players that will be left behind and still collecting a paycheck.

So frustrating and only glimpses of what we know he can do.

remembering the first game of this season, 4 assists, seemingly great attacking throughout the team of which he was the fulcrum

I think we massively let him down, he didn’t leave Juventus for this utter shower of shite that we have become.
That said, he’s also partly to blame because too often he’s played nowhwere near the level his talent deserves and spent way too long dreaming of being anywhere but here.

All in all, one of the most disappointing transfers I can remember.

There's nothing worth remembering about this club in general for the past decade. It might sound extreme, but it's true.

Few heights here and there but mostly a disappointment.
Expensive, high wages but lazy, too slow for the PL energy and far from a true professional. A pity because he is so talented.
We should of sold him 2 years ago when we could get something for him.

First few years I'll remember more fondly than the last few. Overall disappointed, I'll be hoping this is the last time we ever deal with a Raiola client too, I don't think I ever truly forgave the pair of them for that interview on the eve of our must-win game against Liepzig.

A snapshot of everything that's been wrong with this team for the past 12 years or so. No. I didn't say Pogba was the reason we're so fecked but he's a product of how disjointed the club and corporation have become.

His debut against Southampton in 2017 was magnificent. He looked like prime Yaya Toure in that game. Apart from that his United career will mostly remain a complete blur to me, aside from his headed goals against City and Chelsea and his performance against Leeds in the first game of this season.

Overall a complete failure of a signing, I think Ferguson was proved correct in letting him leave the club the first time.

Hopefully like this.

So many false dawns and I fell for them each time

Just such a great player when he shows up but not worth it in the end
