How unrealistic is this transfer wishlist?

I would like to know how realistic or unrealistic getting most or all of the following players would be this summer. Add or subtract who you wish!

Hamsik
Modric
Rodwell
Defour
Sanchez
Stekelenburg

I want them all but if I could only have half of them I suppose Hamsik, Modric and Stekelenburg would make the most impact immediately!
 
Hehe fairly unrealistic. I have never pretended to know what Fergie wants when ti comes to the transfer market.

I'd not be suprised if we got none of the above.
 
I think we will sign 3 players personally in the summer.

1 Big name (Im guessing midfield with the uncertainty over Scholes' retirement? amongst other things)

1 Goalkeeper with VdS retiring

1 for the future. Fergie said in the match programme vs City? that we were gonna go for someone in the winter window but the other parties did not want to know until the end of the season.

Who will they be?

Im thinking... Modric possibly, ????? and Jack Rodwell
 
Hamsik - Unrealistic, Napoli are likely to be in the CL and their president is nuts.

Modric - Unrealisitc, Spurs are building to the future and wont set themsleves back by selling their key midfielder.

Rodwell - Realisitc, Everton need money and I think our history will sway Rodwell over the other suitors.

Defour - Realisitc as in his club know they will sell him this summer but not sure if his injury record will put us off.

Sanchez - Realisitc, Fergie has openly said we are watching him and he's a Untied type player, wants to come here as well by all accounts.

Stekelenburg - Realistic, if we want him we will get him.
 
Depends a bit on sales, and I can see a few players leaving (sold/released) in the summer - but there's no way we'd make 6 big signings. I can see maybe 2 major signings (GK and CM) and a few youngsters/squad players on smaller deals.

I don't think he'll spend big on anyone to be honest. Though by big I mean 20m+.

Defour or Sahid would be the types I'd see him getting, young, learnin', full of potential quality and wouldn't cost THAT much.

GK, we need to fork out I think, don't hold back to get the best we can get.
 
I would be really pleased if something like this happens.

goalie (don't really want Stekelenburg)

and maybe a creative midfielder or a winger.
 
It's about as realistic as me having a foursome with Jessicas Beil, Simpson and Alba.

Utterly unrealistic imo.

4 central midfielders, a forward (Sanchez) and a keeper.... not going to happen.

1 keeper is a cert imo.
1 central midfielder is a strong possibility.
1 winger is a decent possibility.
1 additional central midfielder is a possibility.
I don't see us buying a forward.

On Sanchez, maybe I am wrong, and he is a 442 winger (or could be) but from what I have seen of him - he would be a wing/forward like Ronaldo or Messi, a 433 player, and I have seen him play through the centre this season a bit too. I think Sanchez and Welbeck would be quite similar positionally.

Based on the balance of the squad, I think the squad is built to play 442 for the most part, so a wing-forward wouldn't be high on the list. A 'proper' left winger is more likely imo, though I have no idea who that would be (Bale would be ideal, but don't see us being in for him).

Oh, you didn't say Macheda back though.

If we take Sanchez out of the equation I still think Berbatov, Hernandez, Welbeck and Macheda leaves us light in terms of experience.

It could do, I also forgot to pu Hargreaves out to pasture lol :) So lets add Hulk on for a little CL experience and we are sorted ;)
 
We will sign Sanchez, a goalkeeper and one creative midfielder.

Why buy four new midfielders?

We need one urgently to replace Scholes in the long-run. This is the most pressing need with the squad as it stands. That will be someone like Modric or Defour. Hamsik won't happen.

I think Rodwell is realistic and we will obviously buy a goalkeeper but I hope it isn't the Dutchman.

As for Sanchez, I think it makes sense to buy someone with his flexibility but I can't see Ferguson buying four new players of that type of cost.
 
My wishlist is

Lloris/Adler/neuer/de gea

And if we really wanted to push it, bale.
