How much would you pay for Ronaldo?

All depends on the rate of his inevitable decline really, whether he slowly winds down and adopts his role to prolong he his career or he may just have a shocking season and never return (unlikely). I think because of the specimen he is and the aura he has he's got a good few years left in him so I'd be more than happy with us spending big bucks on him. They say you should never get back with ex's but when your ex is a 10/10 then exceptions can be made..

With his physical regime which is possibly better than any other player in history, he could well go on to be the rapid forward he is now for the next 3-4 years. Then he could adapt his game up front to become ultimate scoring machine he actually is already, and still get 30-40 goals thanks to incredible finishing. All in all I expect him to be knocking at least 25 a season for the next 6-7 years.

Does it really matter how much we would spend on him? If we can get him, we should get him. Even for 80m, you cannot improve the team more than by signing him. Zidane was 29 when he joined Madrid and was a world transfer (which stayed for almost a decade). With the money we have, we can spend a lot of money on him without a problem.

Ronaldo is a top athlete. I think that he can go scoring around 50 goals for another 2-3 years and then around 25-30 goals for another 2-3 other years (that is bar a terrible injury). If we sign him, he'll be our best player for the next 3-5 years so I would be happy if we get him even for some high price.
