Thunderjaws, great fun. They look the most intimidating but since you always have the option of using their own disk blasters against them, they're probably the easiest. Still, their encounters always feel epic due to the sheer size of then. I never really found a good way to take down Stormbirds, just spamming tearblast arrows and hoping to knock off most of those components on their wings.You will take em on, just to do it.
There'll be a point (once you are geared up) when you won't fear anything....
Nothing beats wrecking those big beasts (rockbreakers, behemoths, stormbirds, and the t-rex ones can't remember their names) in style.
Think I'm going to load this up and just go rampaging tonight.

I have been hammering it to be fair. Thunderjaws are great fun but I fecking hate Glinthawks and as a result I'm yet to take on a stormbird. Can't bring myself to do it.....
Deathbringer was disappointingly easy. That said, it's suggesting level 14 for the quest and I'm on level 40

Just a great feckin' game. Whilst it isn't perfect, the story is great and gameplay is immensely fun. I love how the variety in which you can approach each enemy.
Going to have a run through the main campaign on NG+ on Ultra hard and then sink into the expansion.

There's almost a sense of disappointment as you finish isn't there! At least you have the Frozen Wilds to get straight into!

Pity. Because when you see it on a PS4 Pro and a 4K HDR TV it will blow your wig off.I think I've finished this game now.

My TV is going up on my wall tomorrow so I'm holding off starting God of War til then. I'll revisit Horizon at some point. I basically did a speed run on ultra hard, want to revisit it and do it properly as it will be a good challenge.
Fantastic game. Sidequests were a little 'meh', bar the odd few. But it was such a fun game to play.
Not sure if you're aware or not but on the Pro you will be presented with the option of prioritising visuals vs performance. Choose wisely.
Just got this. My word - the graphics are stunning.
Really pushed the ps4 too its graphical limit that and God of war are an example of exclusives that deserve to be in the upper echelons.
Been playing this the past couple weeks, I've just "met" Hades for the first time. This is probably the best story I've seen in a game this generation. It's got me absolutely hooked, and the gameplay, while its a bit boring until you acquire all the weapons, really shines with the Behemoth/Thunderjaw/HugeBirdThing fights. Graphics are ridiculous as well, and Aloy is likeable af. Even better than God of War for me.

Still my favourite ever one player game. I've tried loads of games recommended by people on here and elsewhere but nothing has come close to how immersed and engaged i was by HZD.

No don't listen to him, croc is one of the hardest challenges you have nothing to worry about after.

if you've mastered the crocobot then you should be able to walk straight up to a thunderjaw and basically laugh in its face. it's piss in comparison.
Love this game. Great story as well. I've owned the DLC (described as more of the same) for a couple of years now, I just haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

The Thunderjaw is the biggest but it's pretty slow and there is loads of it to hit so it goes down easy enough. I think the Rockbreaker, Stalker and Stormbird are more difficult to kill.
