Kolo Muani, although would not be sad with Hojlund.
Kolo Muani because he is already a prototype of a Manchester United forward. He is similar to what Martial was like when he was good and has a style that would effortlessly merge with the football played by Rashford, Antony, Sancho and co. In terms of his level, I also think he is one move away from really exploding and I see a potential world class forward in him.
Hojland looks like a quality prospect too, a more classic 9 with great physical attributes and I’d gladly have him too.

Kolo-Muani. When you look at the front line last season excluding Weghorst of course it lacks threat. Rashford being the only viable attacker that did anything significant over consecutive games. Kolo-Muani runs at the opposition with close control. When you've got two passive wingers in Sancho and Antony who are reluctant to attack the fullback consistently, having a forward who will run at and off the centre-half's gives the team more momentum in sustaining pressure. I actually think Rashford / Kolo-Muani / Antony is a very good prospect in attack. It somewhat gives United a different dimension with being progressive in possession individually rather than looking for a midfielder to bring that element (FDJ). Seeing how Randal played off Mbappe in the world cup he could interchange with Rashford coming in off the left. If I'm in Murtough's position id be prioritizing him as the go to forward signing this summer.
Think Hojlund is what would suit ETH’s system more, want him. It’s a different type of 9 than we’ve had in a while with that potential, a proper physical and fast number 9 with a great ability to find space in the box, i would much rather have this than another Martial or Rashford type. Kolo Muani is class however and would not he sad to have him if the club went in that direction, however it’s also to keep in mind that he is 24, will be 25 during the season, Hojlund is 4 years younger and I think if he hits his heights as he’s projected to then once he hits Muani’s current age he will be the better player/talent
If we're only adding one striker than I'd go with the one who has 46 goals in three seasons of top level football under their belt, rather than the guy with one season where he got 10.

Numbers aside, Hojlund looks really exciting.
I'll be happy to see either but it really should be a case of signing both to keep up with the league around us
Hojlund. We seem lacking this type of front man in our team, plus he is strong and fast, seems have higher ceiling than Muani.

Not a lot between them. They're close enough that the differences could easily be explained by different team tactics/leagues.
Muani has much better stats for Assists. He also has a lot more Progressive Carries. But both of those stats are probably because he's played at RW so often.
Hojlund has better stats for for Progressive Passes Received. He's played more as a target man.
I quite like the idea of Muani. I think he'd work well with Rashford because one of them likes to drift right and the other likes to drift left. It would be much better balanced than the Martial/Rashford partnership, for example.
But I'm leaning slightly more towards Hojlund because I'm keen on the idea of a target man to bring the attackers around him into play. From what I've seen of him, he looks like he'd adapt to that role in the PL quite well (being slightly bigger). He also seems to get into the 6 yard box a lot more, which is something we've missed for a long time. Muani appears to have been completely absent from that part of the pitch.
I'd be more than happy with either, though. They're both so raw, it's difficult to say which one will be better in the long term. But the fact Hojlund is a United fan who's desperate to join means that he'll probably be more willing to sit on the bench on occasion while he develops.

Its best if we get these 2 together for the squad building. RKM is for all the points you mention and Hoijlun is the more classic 9 and finisher of the moves type.

Absolutely this although both + Sancho out to reduce bloat will be awesome.
Sancho won't be or even could be sold this summer -- we would get such a beating on the price. He has the next season to buck up or out next summer though it won't be cheap. His contract wont be up till 2027.
Hojlund- good prospect but better fit. Not only is he cheaper, younger and stronger, he has as much pace, a quick first step, great stamina, hunger, and has a higher ceiling for development.
That said, his attributes as a player are better suited to what we’re looking for and need. While Muani appears to me a wide player that runs in behind defenders, Hojlund is more your archetypal striker- drifts center, closer to the 6 yd box, appears good in hold up, and looks to link up just as much, with good movement. I don’t know about his mentality, preparedness, and whether he lives and breathes movement and positioning, but that’s all part of his development curve.
More importantly, Hojlund is also more suitable in situations with compact defensive blocks and close lines where we have struggled to break through. Appears to me, based on highlights, he’s a player more suitable to out hustle a marking, or constantly moving in space. Don’t know how good he’s in the air.

I’d rather Hojlund, reminds me a bit of Haaland with his physical side, and he’s rapid. It’s rare to have someone physical with lots of pace. He’s also younger.
I like Hojlund personally. Looks really promising.

FM2023 listed Hojlund as a perfectionist. Highest level of mental toughness in the game.

Me too. Which one is that then? Kolo only has 36 over 3 seasons. His last season in france he only scored 12 despite playing over 1000 minutes more than Højlund.
15 last season in germany and he is 4 years older.

In an ideal world where we didn’t buy poor/average players on insane wages, we’d be selling Martial and Sancho and buying both of these as replacements.
But he’s also 4 years older. At Hojlunds age he was making almost no appearances for Nantes B and in his first proper season for Nantes in the French league he scored 10 in 40, whilst being a year older than Hojlund currently is. He’s arguably more ready right now but I would argue Hojlund has a much higher ceiling
I don't dispute this. I am indeed arguing that he is more ready right now and I believe that's crucial unless we're signing someone more experienced as well.
I think both have the potential to succeed, in that they score but also assist a lot allowing us to bring Rashford into play, who is now looking like a proven goal threat.
Who is the best header of the ball, or at least the best at getting on the end of crosses? I think to really see the best of Anthony we need someone that will make use of his crossing ability, since last year that part of his game was taken completely away as it was pointless with the Dutch skittle playing up front for the most part. We can also utilise Shaw's crossing ability more in that regard too.

Think Hojlund will become the better player eventually, but Muani is the better player right now. I prefer Hojlund since Muani runs down the wings A LOT, but that said maybe Muani will work amazingly with Rashford since Muani know how to create for his teammates.

If G*eenw*od is coming back then Kolo. We saw how our attacking was in Ole season 2 and Kolo is just another version of Martial with more pressing, current dribbling ability, creativity &effort. McCarthy will teach him to finish a bit better.
If not then Hojlund.
I also think we can find the better version of Hojlund next season but we probably won’t find the better version of Kolo Muani if players like Kane are not available.
