Could be another Embolo situation where our name gets used before he ends up at another club.
This has moved really fast if true. Apparently he plays mainly on the left wing so it will be very interesting how we set up should we sign him.
Not if his father's quotes about him moving here after the Olympics are real.

He had some decent moments ion the Copa America but if we are taking a punt on a cheap young wide player I'd prefer Ounas who actually plays from the RW.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how good this particular kid is. From what I've seen, he's got great talent and a huge upside.
Plus, if Mou wants him, it's probably for a good reason.
I don't see a problem bringing him in. Would be competing for time with guys like Depay, Januzaj, Lingard on the wings and we don't know if Mou will ship out some of those guys or veterans like Young or Valencia. Won't be expected to make a huge impact from the get go but will push the other guys.
tbh there is never enough attacking players, he's winger so it won't affect Pereira for example. Januzaj will have to fight for his spot but his final position is also as no10 or advanced playmaker than a winger, other kids than rashford I dont know, not old enough. we kinda lack at the department
I'd rather we developed the likes of Januzaj more. Plus Lingard is underrated and has been one of our bright spots this season. He won us the cup and deserves his place. Rashford isn't a winger by any means.
Unless you've seen him enough to form an opinion, why would you want us to forget about signing any youngsters and instead stick with Januzaj and Lingaard? What if Jose or our scouts believe Lozano has the potential to be a better player than them? From your comments it sounds like you're lumping all "kids" in to the same pot as if they all have the same potential.
We have a habit of throwing away bright talents like Januzaj to focus on other inferior talents.

Looked more like a Montero level player than a genuinely top class talent, based on his Copa America outings. But that is a miniscule sample size.

Yeah, he was mostly used as a sub in the tournament, mainly because the Mexican coach knew he is young and was tired from a real long season. His club had just won the Mexican league and had barely finished playing before the CA began.
Hirving started the Chile match, but no one shined in that game on the Mexican side, especially the defense and midfield. Attackers like him barely got a touch of the ball at all.
But I maintain he'll surprise a lot of us pleasantly with his class, even at his age.
looking at his videos he plays left but cuts in to shoot on right a lot. If this is true thats 3 strong talents who can play on the left for us. I hope Jose gives Memphis a chance.
I would presume he's for our right wing, but seems strange to sign a predominantly left-sided winger for the right wing. Maybe Memphis will be sold if he's bought?

So you have a problem with the club throwing away bright talents we brought in from other clubs to persist with 'inferior' talents that's been at the club far longer, and now is against bringing another bright talent from another club precisely because you rather persist with the talents we have? Unless your desire is just to save the club some money so we don't end up throwing away this Lozano lad in the future, then you are either contradicting yourself without knowing or just arguing with an agenda.Still not believing this.

There's a quite a case that Januzaj could be the inferior talent here. Has done nothing to warrant a first team selection post Moyes.
Saw a Lozano a couple of times. He looks the part but would need game time. Wouldn't like to think we would buy him and not play him.
After our wingers totally let us down last season, i welcome this young and talented winger, cant do any worse than some for us last season.
No we didn't, Pique was ready for first team football but there was no way he was getting ahead of Vidic of Rio, atleast not for a good few years (we couldn't anticipate their injuries) and his boyhood club came calling with the promise of a starting role.

We never chose Evans over Pique. Also Evans, if it wasn't for injuries and a soft mentality had the talent to become a fantastic CB for us.
Don't know what to believe with this one, but I think he's a very interesting player. If we sign him I think it'd be for the right wing, he looks more capable offensively than Lingard and Mourinho won't use Mata there.
