Judging only from that video I've decided he's a Damien Duff type. Looks decent and I'll be glad to see someone who can take corners

So, is this guy a No.10?
For Dortmund, did he play in LW?
What is his best position?
Last season:
24 games as a RW and got 10 goals and 17 assists
21 games as a LW and got 12 goals and 12 assists
6 games as an AM and got 1 goal and 3 assists
1 game as a second striker, got nothing

10 or right wing, can also play lw.

Played mostly on the right on the right last season but more looks for space then getting white boots.

I kinda like the salty Tweet from Dortmund. There's far to much fake respect in football from clubs.

If I was in Charge of Chelsea's Twitter, the recent goodbye message to Falcao and Pato would have been very different and would have generated 100x more retweets.

WHy was he so "cheap"? Contract coming up?

£26 million is not much these days.

Because that isn´t the price, it is 42,5 Mil. € according to pretty much every credible German source (which all cite own sources)

Well, wishing him to do well would be dishonest by me, but if he keeps performing well it will be at least with a club I symphathise with. If he flops, then it will probably create a classic thread like the one of Kagawa. These are actually the only two outcomes in my book. He either hits the ground running and become one of the Cafe´s most beloved players or he will be one of the most frustrating players to witness by supporters. There won´t be much in between.

Did it delete? Flip, didn't mean to. Anyhow, stop stirring
 Wanted to quote it and all of a sudden got an error message. And it was gone. And ffs, if that counts as stirring, people on the Caf really should stop calling the German posters on here sensitive.

Sky Sports and BBC are saying £26m though, and they are the more reliable sources here. We'll have to see. Didn't the Schweinsteiger fee turn out way less than the initial German sources reported?

Ah now it wasn't the initial one, it was the 'I recall posters on here finding the Gundogan post funny' part. Stirring

Seems like the days of last minute panic buys are well behind us

It does seem that way.
Jose was clearly working behind the scenes during the early part of the year, putting together his short list.
Of all the front running teams in the EPL, it appears that MUFC are the ones getting the business done early.

2-3 signings more and we'll be the team to beat next season

Easy tiger. It doesn't quite work that way.
The team which buys the most players in a Summer isn't actually ever the title favourite.
Generally 2-3 quality signings (first team players) every Summer is the optimal amount.

Dortmund do? That's pretty cool.

I'd love for there to be a Chelsea museum with a wing devoted to "times our rivals failed which had nothing to do with us".
The patch of turf that Gerrard slipped on should take pride of place.

Can't blame Dortmund for being so bitter. They're the 2nd best team in what they believe is a far superior league to the PL and Mkhi chose to sign for a United team that's just finished 5th, thus having no CL, and have failed to impress over recent years. Makes for an amusing change compared to the norm.

I'm not as excited as some for this signing because not only do I not rate him as highly as others, if José is planning on playing him on the right then it's just going to be Kagawa/Mata all over again. Hopefully we don't waste the beginning of the season trying to fit him into the team whilst simultaneously trying to accomodate Rooney.

Those who decided to keep their season tickets are no doubt feeling a good sense of smug right now.

I'd be interested to hear what qualities of his people are so excited about. Would like to view this as a postive step but can't seem to muster the enthusiasm. Hasn't seemed to me like he's even among Dortmund's top 5 players. I'm no Bundesliga aficionado though, admittedly.

Tbh, I wanted us to sign Demba Ba off of you guys, just so we could spend a season cheering him for fecking Liverpool over after the slip. :D

You can see why Dortmund are a bit bitter. Every decent player they have wants to feck off after a few seasons. I'm sure they can get a rendition of you'll never walk alone going to console themselves.

Aye, Schweini was touted at 15 or 20 IIRC, and ended up being 5 or so.

Wasn't Schweini signed when the exchange rate was €1.4 to £1? It's more or less €1 to £1 right now.

Thanks Farage, Johnson and Gove you utter twunts.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully he's a top quality addition. We need a few more signings if we're to challenge next season, IMHO.

He is top quality. No doubt that he will be a huge success in the Premier League. He's a fantastic footballer, that can play on all attacking positions and even has a history in Shakhtar of playing a bit on the central midfield.

He's the complete package. Creativity, passing, finish and dribbling. Great work rate. He's the best player we could've got and at £26M... that's a bargain if there ever was one

I'm liking this.

The caf's resident Armenian @Slevs can be the new Mad Winger
