Di Marzio tweeted mkhitaryan was undergoing a medical, wum on the thread said he failed it, wum had a meltdown and was begging mods to ban him.

All in all, mkhitaryan should (hopefully) be announced today, possibly during Jose's first interview or around that time.

He's a crazy idea: he's finished the medical and now there's the final bits and pieces of his contract to finish off, as well as work permit details and other arrangements to complete before it can be officially announced. I'm sure the club also wants maximum publicity for the transfer, and it would've been too late at night yesterday to justify announcing it then. Do it today and they can ride a big wave of Jose/Micky publicity.
 
You're right, that is a crazy idea. He's still doing the endurance test.

Obviously I was just being sarcastic. :)

But I suspect the deal will be announced today.
 
If the club is trying to whore as much publicity as possible, I suspect they would not like to share Jose's limelight with Mkhitaryan's announcement & would withhold it even further :mad:

Whilst not denying differences in ability I think the main reason counters stopped dead was due to obeying LvG's orders. I'm sure he had driven rules into the players, there were times when mids would look up, see men in space or moving into space, yet turn and look for someone sideways or back. Had to be instructions.
True or not, I love watching counter-attacks, bring 'em on.
 
Jose will certainly be asked about his status today. If not announced in the next two hours (I doubt it will), then he'll probably give a similar answer to what LVG said re. Darmien (ie its done, he's just on the way for a medical etc).
 
It will all be about Mou's press conference today till late evening I think. Once club is done milking it enough on social media, they will bring out Micki news (which can be tomorrow as well).
 
It's pretty laughable that Dortmund announced it on Saturday (was it?) and we've still yet to confirm. Maybe he's a greedy bastard and asking for too much money.
