Who? and How?, unless they're following the reserves to Gigg each week or watching the matches on MUTV then "baseless" is exactly what these comments are, the only avid reporter on the reserves I have seen on here is Pat and I doubt he has taken to slagging off our own players. There are a few too many on here who are more than willing to share with all and sundry their considered opinions on things which they have not seen or heard first hand but on things which others have passed on, exactly why I referred to it as "chinese-whispers". If Softy is not allowed to cite a friend of a friend who just happens to have a friend in the boardroom of every premiership club when taunting MOT then similarly those who condemn United players on the same basis should be slated for it, particularly if they are supposed to be the United fans.

I never talked that much about veron anyway so please drag me into it

I'll leave it to Murt to drag out quotes from the past :p , suffice it to say that when you sling as much shit at our own players as you do, I would be heartilly surprised if you'd let this Juan off the hook.

BTW, have you plucked up the courage to sample any durians yet? ;)

Tried a little from a buffet at a Thai restaurant just yesterday but I have to say I was not hugely impressed. A bit tasteless, I think you compared it to eating cold custard previously and I would have to agree although cold custard should not have the smell of rotting carrion.

:D Thai durians are rather tasteless compared to msian durians. If you think thai durians smell bad, wait till you try msian durians (if you dare). It's an acquired taste after all, somewhat like the "chow tau fu" (stinky tou foo) you get in hong kong. Now those are downright nasty!!

Is your msian counterparts still giving you hell with those 1 MB email accounts of theirs?

Better than forlan that's for sure.
and you have done nothing to refute that point besides laugh.
Shows what kind of a footballing brain you have.

So you like prefer Emile Heskey to one of your own teams players

Ideally it would be thierry henry :D

But of course in your narrow and blinkered mind, all utd players are world beaters and everyone else is inferior.

Merry christmas to you too

I've watched all this season's reserve games, and Forlan has barely played, I think maybe one or two matches. In those games, he was played deep, as usual, and was either not far enough forward to get into a goalscoring position, or not given any service. I can only remember one chance which he missed. You can't base any judgement at all of him on the basis of this season's reserve games - and he's not had enough full first team games, as a striker, to be judged either.

Neil, are you sure "you" actually watched them all and you weren't just told about them by a friend who watched them. I'd hate to go quoting you only to find I had been mislead by a third hand opinion ;)
