Yea, only proves he's not worth even the 40 mln quid that's being thrown around.
And somebody said he's classic number 9, yes he can find the net but his game is much more than that. Having different team behind him he would achieve so much more, hopefully we will get him so he don't need to play against King Chris.

Lost a 50/50 with Smalling, can happen to any striker. The fact is, that's also the only good opportunity he got to score. The midfield behind him was extremely average; Eriksen shit, Dier shit, Bentaleb shit, Lamela shit, Chadli even more shit, Davies and Walker provided absolutely nothing.

If Eriksen had put away that nice lob assist by Kane early on, the media will be wanking all over Kane right now. Let just be glad that we were the luckier team today and we got that fortunate goal, because before that we were the team in the passenger seat.
i thought he looked alot livelier than rooney today. i still rate kane loads. smalling has been exceptional against most of the leagues attackers. not a reason to put down kane
Besides, Kane only got one real 50/50 duel with Smalling. Harsh to criticise Kane for losing that one duel because the midfield behind him didn't provide him with anything useful at all.

He needs to get away from Spurs. There arent going anywhere. If a bid comes in for him, he should do his best to force a move.
Seems to really struggle when playing against Smalling....He might be better served by training with him everyday.
Will comfortably outscore Rooney this year.

I know we'd be buying homegrown and potential but I just don't see the £40m player when I watch him. But Spurs have placed such a premium on him that getting him for a substantial sum less isn't going to happen.
We need to be in the Benzema league of striker if we're buying one. After watching Concrete Boots upfront today I question whether we can depend on him for a season. Granted I do make allowances for first game rustiness.

Not the player we are looking for. Let the English media continue to overrate him - but the striker we need does not get shut down by Chris Smalling and Daley Blind every time he plays them.

Getting shut down by Chris Smalling is no slight on Harry Kane. It's Chris motherfeckin' Smalling.
