Exactly. Only reason i can see him wanting to stay is maybe if poch is back & he loves him. There’s no chance that’s accurate. He’s wanted out for 2 years and Spurs are currently looking as far off challenging for titles as they’ve done at any point since he’s been there. They’d have to make some extraordinary promises to convince him it’s worth staying there and even then I doubt he still trusts Levy.
Qatar are buying in and Poch is going back.I wonder what "if the circumstances are right" means?
Kane has never been about pace but top finisher
Hope he signs a contract, I’d much rather Osimhen.
Kane is class but I’d rather we go a striker we can likely rely on for the next 8-9 years than 2 or 3.
Could win a couple this seasonHe's probably better off if his only other option is Man Utd. We are by no means guaranteed to win trophies and he will likely get a statue at Spurs if he stays.
We could yeah, but we're hardly the guaranteed success of a City or Bayern right now.Could win a couple this season
And if we wasn’t on the up? If we kept being mediocre and he still decided to extend out of his love for and belief in the club? Would that be an indicator of a small club mentality or would we then praise him for having his heart in the right place? No. Rashford plays for a big club on the up.
If Rashford kept talking about winning the big trophies and leaking out how he was such a winner then yes?And if we wasn’t on the up? I know nothing about all the leaking etc. I’m just tired of smearing players for staying at their clubs, because at the end of the day that’s an aspect of the sport I love - loyalty and love.If Rashford kept talking about winning the big trophies and leaking out how he was such a winner then yes?
It’s clear as day he doesn’t need Spurs to be competing to be happy to stay yet here we are talking about Kane and his will to win trophies.
Rashford hasn’t signed a new contract yet by the way

For example Perez joining Deportivo - despite being way too good for that league, he simply wants to donate his later years to get the club back up. To call that unambitious instead of, say, admirable and wholesome to me is cynical and dull. Same goes for Kane and his willingness to stay.
Why do people believe this btw? a rumour or did he say this in an interview?
I totally agree, this is my argument around him. You look at the raw stats and you can't argue with it. He's a fantastic player. He's got fantastic ability as a playmaker too, albeit he can be a bit cumbersome. But when it comes to delivering silverware? Harry Kane gets a lot of excuses made for him because of his team but he's had some opportunities for Spurs and England and he usually under delivers. It is clear that Kane does not have that, I want to win mentality that alot of world class players have. He has alot of qualities, we see it for England too, he doesn't really deliver in a way that says, I am the main man and I will make sure we win today. Players of the past have done this with their mentality.
I think he is satisfied with his career and just wants to be a Spurs legend, get the PL record and hopefully try and win an Audi cup.
If we get new owners how does that matter? And if you take out the owners issue, a striker scoring 20/25 goals leads us to even one PL/CL then I would say it’s well worth. How many goals would Kane score over 4 years? 60-80? How much is that worth to us…

People argue he's done as much as he can in those sides, but has he? What makes our current team substantially closer to winning a major trophy than England or Spurs under Poch? I would argue we are at a similar level. We are not the favourites for any competition we enter. So that means when we sign Harry Kane and put him on a huge contract into his 30s we're saying we are buying you to get us over the line. Can he actually do that or will he fold like a pack of cards?
He's a risk in my eyes. Not to fail to score goals as he guarantees that, but that he'll be a difference maker. I wouldn't be surprised if we play towards Kane's strengths, he scores 30 goals and we get no closer to winning.
