Harry Kane | Bayern Munich player

We’re filthy rich. We can afford to pay £30m every single season for a 25-30 goals a season forward. £100m for even 3 years makes sense.
I don't know about spending 100m. But he's on "100% will work" bracket, for me. On marketing side, this would be a dream move for United and Kane. If we win the League, he'd be (one of) the symbol of United new era.

Give him the number 7 shirt, win the league instant Harry Kanetona vibes.

If Kane does move in the summer it's largely up to him, rather than Levy, where he goes. A lot depends on whether he prefers to stay in England.

Expect the transfer fee would be at least 70 million he is worth it. He is a technical striker like Lewandowski and should age well.

are we though? We’re going after Wout Weghorst on a loan currently.

Chances are we bought big last summer to look more sexy to suitors when selling the club

Levy would be stupid to sell to a competing side imo. Kane alone could bump Spurs out of top 4.

Arsenal and City are probably top 4 next year, then there’s only two remaining spots - if Spurs want in on CL they shouldnt sell to United or Newcastle

… and hugeeee wages on top of that.

with our allegedly new wage structure, Im not sure we can offer Kane enough in wages
Depends if he wants to stay in the PL and have a shot at the record or go abroad. If he wants to stay in the PL and have a chance of winning the league he needs to leave Spurs and so his options are limited.

If Spurs sell domestically i can see Conte leaving. Better for levy to sell to madrid/barcelona/bayern.

Think he would be a great siging for us, would make us genuine contenders for the league. Worth the outlay to win the league in next few years than let the barren streak go into another decade.

It’s either sell him and get a replacement in or lose him for free the next summer.

Spurs aren’t making top four either way.

Spurs won't sell less than 100m and he is 30 this year, even if we get a new owners which will splash the cash in the summer Kane should not be considered !

Our best scenario is going in for Vlahovic who is 22 and in my eyes will become world class CF regen of Van Nistelrooy will fit ETH system perfectly.

Get in Vlahovic,De Jong/Enzo,Gusto and i think we become a title contenders.

Realistically I think Kane has only 4 clubs that will go for him this summer: United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern. Maybe Newcastle but I don't see them making this big of a signing at this stage. if no other striker options will be available in the summer I think we will go for Kane with a 3-year contract.

Kane would definitely be worth anything under £75m. If they're asking for more than £100m just wait and get him the following summer on a free. Martial and Weghorst would be acceptable for 1 more season as long as Rashford can continue his current form.

I don't believe Kane would be prepared to play outside England. I've always gotten the impression he wants to stay within the PL.

yeah, but its not just top four this year. Its practically the next 3 years he could force spurs out of top 4, which has a price too in gbp.

Makes perfect sense to sell to Bayern, Real Madrid or PSG if interested

we saw how Levy turned his arm last year, so im not sure Kane really has an option if Levy wants say Bayern

on the contrary, kane holds all the cards now. he doesn't have to agree terms with a club that levy might squeeze more cash from; he can just stay and leave on a free next year. i think he'll eventually leave on a free anyway, as levy is just too much of a toolbag to do what's right by him.

How many times have you seen Vlahovic play? He's not that good, he's not a definite starter for Juve, he wasn't even playing for Serbia in World Cup.

If we get new owners, Kane should be our priority, he would bring the best out of Rashford too, same as he did for Son in Tottenham. Kane and De Jong would just send us to the next level.

City seem to be sliding into a rebuilding period, get him and a top class cm and we be thereabouts of winning the title and I don't think I'm exaggerating.

Does Levy really believe that a shot at top 4 (for one season) is worth 60mil.? Kane is going to leave in 2024 when his contract runs out. I don't think it makes sense to keep him for one more year especially given that Spurs are in desperate need of a rebuild in thier attacking department.

If Kane makes it clear that he won't be signing a new deal at Spurs and waiting to see how they do next season (i.e. If they make it back to the Champions League) then I can't see Spurs being able to hold out for >£100m and risk losing him for nothing. Maybe if there is a bidding war, perhaps Chelsea could get involved?

Either way he'd be a worthwhile investment for us since his form has only improved this season despite his age. I can see him continuing his scoring for a good few years yet. Just look at Lewandowski who'll be 35 in August and still one of the best strikers in the world.

ETH's win percentage of 74.1% in all games since he joined United is typically more than enough to win the league in most seasons. Arsenal have just had a ridiculously good run, although I fully expect them to self implode over the second half of the season.

Fully agree that Kane and a top CM are the two key additions, and they would also by definition provide more depth as well. Eriksen and Martial would replace Fred and Mcneill(?) As the first change in their respective positions.

In the second half of the season, the team with the bigger squads and more strength in depth have the advantage. Arsenal's second XI is really quite weak, but City only have a small drop in quality from their first XI to their second XI, e.g. Haaland to Alverez is a nice problem to have.

Our first XI is comparable to either of City's or Arsenal's, and our second XI is probably somewhere in between, but with ETH's superior management skills, who knows....?

Football is obviously unpredictable so a ton of unforseen events could transpire in that time span but even assuming we won't get a complete rotational do over in the summer we still could challenge for the title by the virtue of getting lucky with our injury list not to mention we don't know whether city's decline is permanent or not or even if pep's still around as a lot could happen (hell maybe Liverpool had a resurgence by then).

Still we're really only halfway through the season so I guess we've just got to wait and see what happens but as you've said I feel our main lineup is shaping up to be capable of winning it all.

Yeah those two along with cheap RB cover and maybe N'dicka on a free would be fantastic window but asking a lot to make it happen. Especially when you still get the impression FDJ hasn't the guts to leave Barca

So Kane's contract expires in 2024? If true and he wants to leave again, that would finally make this possible. You would think that Levy would do right by him this time.

What is your gut feeling on where he ends up?

Not that you asked me, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up staying at Spurs. I can’t see him joining a London club at all. I think it’s possible, but not likely that he’d join another PL club (City and *possibly* Utd being the only two that are of requisite size, have the ability to pay wages, and offer a bigger chance of winning something - and the jury is still out on whether Utd offer that last bit).
Outside of the UK I can only realistically see RM, Barca, PSG, and Bayern and there’s a reasonable chance that none of those teams will be prepared to sign a 31 yr old on enormous wages. Might be wrong, obviously.

The price is right and I want him to come here but dear god on a personal level, wish for his sake he would move to Spain. Madrid with
Viniscius-Kane-Mbappe is very strong

A new owner would love Kane, could still be a national hero, etc.

Have you heard of Chelsea and their lord and savior Todd Boehly

Surely the club would want money for him, but also isn’t Spurs being looked at to be purchased? New buyers would want to start with holding on to Kane.

I don’t see Barcelona having the money for it, RM yeah especially if mbappe prefers the wing but I don’t see Bayern spending that much at all.

I can’t see Kane leaving England. Spurs are a bit of a sinking ship, but it’s his boyhood club so he probably stays through the trophyless end of his career.

But if he were to move, the only two destinations I can see are United and Newcastle. Newcastle have a nice project going on and unlimited resources, but it’s Newcastle. United also have a nice project going on, but our financial muscle is open to question. If Harry wants to lift a PL trophy he should consider a move to OT next season.

No chance City or Liverpool will be interested. Obviously no possibility of Kane going to Arsenal. I just can’t see Chelsea either. Newcastle or United, possibly in that order from Harry’s perspective.

Surely not?

Will be the main man at United & stands the best chance of a trophy at United, why would he go to Newcastle?
