Did you just forget the 180M we’ve already spent?
FFP isnt pound for pound. The money coming in stretches our ability to spend.

So Harry Kane’s (and Gary Neville’s) masterplan is to rely on Levy behaving with a degree of honour and in a way that favours the player’s interests over those of his club? It’s a bold strategy, let’s see…..etc
Lats exactly what I never got about Neville's point.
Harry Kane goes to Levy today and says "I want you to accept the same value offer from Man Utd as I want to stay in England."
Daniel Levy - "Nope"
What does Kane do then? Go and complain to the citizens advice bureau?
When Levy has an easy way out to sell the player to outside league why will he accept similar bid from us?
People running the clubs are not stupid, as much as fans want to believe that .
We have to make much more larger bid with much more favorable terms for Levy to accept the bid.
1. No money, can't even sign Amrabat without selling Fred and VDB
2. They won't accept it, under no obligation to
Wasn't his Wife in Munich a few weeks ago looking at areas to live?
He doesn't have an easy way out... Kane has to agree too. If Kane wants to stay in England without extending his contract (which is looking likely) and we make a similar bid, they will have to accept it, or risk losing him for nothing in a few months. Doesn't have to be us either. Any of the top clubs could bid and Levi will be hard pressed not to accept.
Had his contract situation been different, I'd agree that we don't have to bother with this saga.
United have the moneySome of you are bat shit crazy.
You think we’re just going to pull out a £100m from our back pocket as if it’s a tenner and FFP doesn’t exist. We’ve spent half a billion since last summer.
And then we bench a £72m signing and keep him as backup. Amazing.
Not necessarilyIf Kane wanted to stay in England, Bayern wouldn't have put lot of effort to make acceptable bids.
Says he’s not going to Bayern and Levy absolutely bricks himself that he’s about to see £100m go down the drain? Pretty simple to see how this plays out IF Kane wants to come to Old Trafford.
Or that we at least tried our best getting the best center forward avaliable without delaying our business the way we did last year with frenkie, it's not all that negative and I don't think anyone truly believes we bought Rasmus to be a starter from get go.
I think Levy has pressure and obligation to sell. If we drop an equal bid and Levy rejects, suddenly Kane holds all the cards.Levy doesn't have an obligation to accept the same bid from Utd. He'd just turn it down and we'd look stupid.
Kane can reject Bayern and Levy has already shown his hands that he needs to sell, and would likely be obligated toward ours.
We must lodge a bid.
Non-negotiable, even if we don't sign him and we are blanked, as a club, we have to make a public and formal bid.
We have too.
We're the biggest club in the world. Now is the time to prove it.

Chances are small of him coming to Utd for various reasons but really can’t understand those that don’t want him. It would be the perfect transfer and push the club to seriously competing with City. We have just signed a pretty much unproven youngster who is expected to hit the ground running and provide much needed goals. Kane for a few seasons with guaranteed goals while bedding in Rasmus is the perfect scenario.
Spurs finished 8th mateBye bye Harry.
Spurs out of the top 4 spot.

No chance we'll get him. We'd have to bid something like 130m at least to convince Levy to sell to a PL rival and I doubt we have that. Ship's sailed.
Exactly but oh boy are the media gonna really go after us on this one. Will be constantly brought up while he's scoring for Bayern
Not happening. A lot of teams have money but FFP is a thing.United have the money
