True, the kids-part shouldn't be much of a concern moving to Munich. Tbh it would be beneficial for kids learning a new language at this age. After 4-5 years Kane would most likely move back to England, hence it's just temporarily.
He wants 2-3 serious go's at winning the CL surely?

Read between the lines man. We are playing our position well. He is no doubt our main target however we aren’t going to war until we have been given the green light. That will happen either once Bayern have a fee agreed or Spurs let it be know they can’t afford for him to go into the season without signing a new contract extension similar to what we are seeing with Mbappe.
There is no need for us to get involved in the circus as things stand.

Firstly, there is a British School in Munich, so his kids wouldn't even have to necessarily learn German beyond the introductory level taught at the school.
Secondly, it is likely much more beneficial for a kid to have the opportunity to become fluent in English than it is for them to learn German.

I'll keep pointing this out till the day I die because it's revisionism of the highest order: Van Persie didn't turn us into title challengers because WE ALREADY WERE. He joined a team that got 89 points the previous season and missed out on the title due to goal difference, mostly because of a 1-6 drubbing by City.
He helped maintain the level of the team despite the decline of some key players, most notably Ferdinand and Vidic. He helped paper over the cracks.
Kane would need to be twice the signing Van Persie was to transform this United side into title challengers. If he merely helps us maintain our previous level, that's not worth 100m.

Buy-back clause would mean nothing in reality as Kane would just say “no thanks”. Sure we’d be happy to include one on that basis as well.
Its quite simple if wee sign Kane for 100M and in the next three years win a PL and champions league id say that would be well worth 100 million he is to good a player to not be involved in trying to sign id take him over Hojlund in a heart beat.

Just a point on Martial, but we only paid £36m up front. There was a bunch of add ons but apparently we've only met the conditions for one of them, so have probably paid about £44m at the moment. It's very unlikely we'll ever pay the remaining £14m now, given his own form. Martial's prime never really happened due to injuries, but even so he has a return of nearly 1 goal every 3 games in the league. Never hit the heights we wanted him to and probably should have sold him when we could get a decent fee and reinvested it, but that's the beauty of hindsight.
Also, you can make the adverse argument for what you've made for Kane. We could sign him for £100m and he could get injured straight away, and then due to his age never fully recover from that injury and start to decline rapidly. No signing is ever a sure thing, so I can understand why some people would rather use that £100m to sign two players that might be more useful over the long run.
I personally don't think Kane would bring us close to the title. Closer maybe, but still not enough to catch City.
I will say this about our transfer window: we are getting a bit more cute and smart about how we are going about things. Just letting Bayern and Spurs accept a price then a gazumping comes along

I agree, but there’s more to it than when it comes to moving your family to another country. I’d do it in heartbeat as I love Germany (and at the risk of being rude in saying this, see Germany in some ways as a nicer place to live for a few years than England) but Harry and his wife have deep roots in London. Presumably siblings, cousins, friends, people they can call on for any reason at any time. All I’m saying is that decision like this doesn’t all come down to the family breadwinner finally winning a trophy.

Well as someone who grew up with danish parents but attending a german school I can tell you that there wont be a scenario where Harry's kids will suddenly not be fluent in English just because they attend a german school or even live in germany, especially given the age they are at now.
What will happen is that they will be fluent in both and thus have even greater opportunities than if they are only fluent in one. Obviously english gives you wider opportunities if its either or, but that is not the case here.

We're also aware it's unlikely Levy will sell to us for a reasonable fee. But I also think we might go for a cheeky bid late in the window to test their resolve in the face of losing him for nothing. In the meantime, we'll focus on Rasmus so we're not left too short, and we always have Rashford too. Ideally we need to sign two strikers, but you can't depend on it in this market. Also, we need to shift some dead-wood before this is even that possible.
I think Kane is probably on board with the plan too.
