It won’t change anything. If Kane makes it clear that he won’t renew, Levy will still sell. No hurt feelings when the option is to lose 100m.Wow that's a dumb move by Hoeneß. Levy won't exactly make it any easier for them now.
It depends on Kane's own motivations. The clock is running down on his career so he has to decide what is most important to him in the immediate term - breaking Shearer's record, the chance of winning domestic trophies in England, the opportunity to win the Champions League or finding the best financial package for himself.Still one of the best clubs and third most probable to win cl. Guaranteed league success. So why he want to miss this opportunity.

If I was Kane I'd be doing everything I could to bring Madrid and United into the equation next summer. Bayern are obviously a good team but I don't know if they're necessarily a slam dunk for him. Madrid are stronger contenders to win the Champions League, and it wouldn't hurt Kane's pockets if he bides his time either. Kane could piss the Bundesliga with Bayern at any age, and my personal feeling is that the sense of achievement is diminishes when there's no jeopardy involved. He might feel differently, of course.
Yep, that is true. But feck that noise, it's boringWinning a guaranteed trophy for the first time in his life. Bayern are guaranteed champions in Germany, Man Utd aren’t guaranteed champions in England and Madrid aren’t in Spain.
Bayern are such a bunch of utter assholes.
If any chairman deserves having their players tapped it is Levy given how narcissistic he's become with regards to negotiating player outgoings over the last decade. There's a reason we wouldn't even dare approach them despite crying out for a top class striker. He deserves everything that comes his way from Bayern.
Not like Bayern to be publically tapping up a player.
Hate those MF'ers.
Is there any team that publicly talks about other team's players than Bayern? Not even Florentino Perez is close to this bad!
Time after time after time, year after year after year someone in Bayern's staff is flapping their gums.
Mostly Hoeneß and Rummenigge. Believe me, Bayern supporters also find them annoying. Especially since Hoeneß hasn’t held an official position at the club in years.Bayern are such a bunch of utter assholes.
I'm sure deep inside he's dying to win the bundesliga so his fans can win internet arguments. Forget about the history books, it's all about not looking farcical in e-debates.I can't imagine how, being the highest goalscorer of a league (in which you've never won) could equate to winning domestic titles and maybe CLs. It would be farcical for him to not win a trophy in his career.
Come again? I have no idea what you are trying to say.I'm sure deep inside he's dying to win the bundesliga so his fans can win internet arguments. Forget about the history books, it's all about not looking farcical in e-debates.
That can backfire a bit, put off future players from signing.Incredibly unprofessional from Bayern. Levy is a cnut but I hope he sticks to his guns and demands an insane fee from them. You can’t just openly admit to tapping a contracted player up. The arrogance is astonishing.
Say what? Minimum if he’s hurt for half the season is 15!Kane would give us an extra 15 goals a season at the minimum imo.
Wouldn't put it past Spurs to report the tapping up, like they don't also do it, along with everyone else
You're looking at it as an Englishman, the UK is only 1% of the world's population (counting only football fans a little more), for the rest of the world it matters more to win the German championship than to be "only"I honestly don't get why Kane want the Bayern move.
If it's about glory:
Move to Bayern: He will certainly win some Bundesliga titles, but nobody really rate these as big "achievement", so unless he get at least a CL with him as main man (big IF) there is not many "glory" he can chase at Bayern.
Stay at Spur: He will certainly surpass Shearer to become EPL greatest goal scorer, an achievement that only he has, and people will still talk about that for long time (as like Shearer).
If it's about money then obviously he will earn much more staying and sign new contract or move away next season as a free.
Next season he can still join Bayern or a lot of other big clubs, while he already have the Shearer achievement.
But again, it's the guy who keep signing contract at Spurs and then want to leave, not one but few times...
I think Arsenal fans would find it funny to see Kane scoring for United while Spurs goes down the table. I believe he has 2 seasons before declining and you have to restart thinking about a new #9.He’s coming and I want to see these smug Arsenal fans faces if it happens.
Problem for footballers things could change in a fraction of second with career threatening injury. It depends on Kane's own motivations. Yeah wouldn't be surprised if we do this. However we will need to pay a manutd tax above bayern accepted bid.It makes me wonder if we're just waiting for a bid to be accepted.
Make the same bid, gets rejected, Kane might just then kick up a bit of a fuss
To quote “Bit of a weird guess when nothing suggests this is likely at all.”100 percent think if he stays at Spurs this season he’ll join another English team next. It’s what he really wants.
Kane isn’t happening this window. I’m actually skeptical for next year too, no guarantee he picks United, esp if we don’t get CL football. It makes me wonder if we're just waiting for a bid to be accepted.
