You are taking the piss out of what happened to the Jews. That's why you are classless enough to call people Hitler for supporting Hargreaves. You racist

No, I'm taking the piss out of you.

I am also taking the piss out of the Nazis.

I have explained very clearly what the definition of racism is for you, since you appear confused on the matter (I suspect it's not on the curriculum until next semester for you) so stop feigning ignorance.

You don't get it, do you? Huddlestone delivers the final ball and he gets a lot of credit for others work. Similar to Lampard.

Huddlestone and Carrick play a similar role whereas Lampard is an attacking midfielder. The difference is that Huddlestone has the quality to deliver the final ball better than Carrick who makes a lot of attempts but the keeper/defender generally gets to it before Rooney or Ronaldo do.

He is defensively suspect though. But he will improve as he is still 21.

You really have a problem with Carrick don't you? In a thread about Hargreaves you're banging on about whether Huddlestone is better than Carrick. Thank feck the likes of you don't get to matches, I can just imagine you sitting there moaning and gnashing your teeth everytime he got the ball.

Oh, and Carrick essentially played holding midfield for the majority of last season. And we won the league. Huddlestone

No, I'm taking the piss out of you.
No your not. You're equating support for Hargreaves to being Hitler. That will never be taking the piss out of me. No matter how hard you wish it.
I am also taking the piss out of the Nazis.
Sure. By equating what they did to millions of Jews to supporting Hargreaves. What a great piss taker you are.

This is just a lousy joke:boring:. I'm not confused about racism. I know racism more than you will ever hope to. Anyone who makes light of what Hitler and his cronies did is racist. Bottom line.

It's to show that for someone who is being hailed as a deep lying play maker and being superior to Hargreaves, Carrick needs to do better than 1 goal + 1 assist + 72352753213 long balls.

Even Mascherano and Hargreaves have 1 goal + 1 assist.

Take a fecking look you twat!

...he would have realised Adebayor was behind him, and tracked the run, but he didn't, and we conceded the equaliser.

Yes, Hargreaves wasn't the only one to blame but he did play a big part

In your version of English. The bolder part i.e Hargreaves "playing a big part" in causing something doesn't give him the lions share of the blame. Meaning you are effectively saying it was his fault. More than anyone else's.

Yes, he played a big part. He wasn't the only one, so did Vidic and Brown.

They all played big parts in Adebayor scoring.

It's really not that hard to understand.

So 27 created attacks means feck all does it ?

1 attack created by this legendary play maker for almost every game he plays ?...wow

As opposed to Hargreaves keeping it simple and allowing Scholes/ Rooney/ Ronaldo who are far more capable than Carrick to create that attack. Maybe he should attempt 384893743 long balls every game. A few of them will create attacks too.

So why are so many people laughing at you?

If you think making a joke about the Nazis is racism you are confused. Racism, as I've said before is defined thus:

rac·ism (rszm)
n.
1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

Now you explain how I fit into one or both of those categories.

Your argument that anyone who uses the Nazis in humour is a racist is laughable. I posted the Monty Python Hilter sketch to illustrate the absurdity of your argument.

What about this bloke though?

hargreaves_owen_550772.jpg

Oh, I get it. It didn't occur to me that he was referring to Hargreaves.

Does Hargreaves even consider himself Canadian?

In truth it was a pretty absurd comment to make.

I guess over there the idea that he isn't really "English" is pretty common.

In Canada he has made it known that he isn't really "Canadian".

I hope you are not trying to say Huddlestone and Carrick play in different positions.

I'm not saying anything.

I'm just showing you 2 pictures. I'll let you make of them what you like.

I dont care about the pictures, because I dont know what they are.

But if you think Huddlestone and Carrick play in different positions, you do not have a scooby.

I didn't say anything.

Carrick not even good enough to make the England 30 man squad again. Dropped by Capello along with Nickey Shorey.

Dropped by SAF for the last 3 games in a row with a view to be a bit part player in some selective games. He has become the Fletcher of previous seasons

The hits just keep coming.

Do YOU (not Ferguson, Cappello, Hitzfield or Sven) really think Hargreaves has been better than Carrick over the last few weeks?

And try to answer without stats pleased.

Also one match pic doesn't show the position they play in. I am certain that Carrick or Scholes will be playing 5 to 10 yards ahead on the pitch against Derby than against say Arsenal

He hates Carrick.

The player is picked based on both form and known capabilities. If the England team gets picked on form, then Rooney shouldn't be in it this time.

An average all round player could be better in some areas than a good player who plays a specific role.

Again side stepping the question.

Carrick was not picked because the England manager obviously thinks there are better options available for his position (Lampard - Gerrard).

England are hardly blessed with defensive midfielders, so Hargreaves gets the nod.

It's not because Hargreaves is a better option than Carrick, but a different option.

Again side stepping the question.

I've previously posted that Carrick 'was' our in form midfielder and also that he was unlucky to not start against Lyon away.

Doesn't make him our best midfielder this season though or even a great midfielder like most Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime claim. He is competent and he was in form around the time we were played Arsenal in the cup. After that he was average against Lyon at home and has been dropped for 3 games in a row. I am not so sure that he is currently in as good a form as he was a month ago.

And the passing stats and no. of passes attempted/completed can be found at most sites if you google ;) Hargreaves has 85% completion rate. He keeps it simple but to say he keeps giving the ball away is silly.

Have a feeling he's been rested more than anything. Lets see if he starts on Sunday. But he's been better than Hargreaves definitely this season.

The initial stats you posted were misleading then. Carrick has a 82% passing completion rate. Considering the quality of his passes that's very impressive. Don't you think? :smirk:

Wow...Carrick plays in the Gerrard / Lampard position as an attacking midfielder ??:eek::eek:

I hardly think both Lampard and Gerrard will be given the licence to play the same role they do for their clubs. Going by Capello's previous footballing philosophy, they'll both be given strict orders to be more disciplined. Which basically means one of them will play a deep lying midfielders role.

Whoa, what? Was Hitler piss-poor at right-back too?

He was shite mate. Obviously hampered by the high stepping running style... constantly getting pulled up for hand ball as well

So you're a racist too now father? Tell me, what would you be wanting to get into that kind of thing for?

No he's not. But he has attributes in this role that Carrick doesn't. He's quicker than Carrick and more aggressive. Besides, we can't expect Carrick to play every game, all season long. He played too much football last season and faded horribly at the end. If nothing else, Hargreaves' signing will give us a fresh and hungry Carrick for the run-in.

And we always pay over the odds. We are Manchester United.

Well I base my opinion on what I've seen him do for United. People keep telling me he's quick but frankly he doesn't look quick to me. No quicker than Carrick I would say on what I've seen. If aggressive means chasing the ball, then yes I've seen him do that for United. Usually to no great effect. I'm prepared to wait til next season before I pass judgement though - as I've said before, I think he's not fully fit and needs a good preseason.
