I do mean what i wrote, but i figured some may be offended, somehow, so i decided to remove it.
What in the world is going on here?! Croatia ahead by 13! Poland advances to the semis with a draw, France advances if Croatia wins by ten or less. Croatia grabbing the 2nd place wasn't even an option.

This was fecking embarrassing. We only needed to not lose by more than 3 so we went and lost by 14. I think Croatia were like 500/1 to qualify in the morning today - Norway to win against France alone would have easily been 4/1 at least and Croatia to beat Poland by more than 11 would have probably got you close to 100/1. I don't understand what happened there but I feared before the game that a good start from Croatia would fire them up. It would have been better for Poland if France got a point as Croatia would have had nothing to play for and we'd have probably won. Once they started well and knew we were there for the beating they got going properly and crushed us.
We would have advanced with a 3-goal defeat!

I could swear I heard the commentator on TV3 say that the Polish fans were celebrating after the Norway match because that result meant both teams had qualified.
Don't think anyone here in Croatia thought that something like this was possible, our team is nowhere near classic croatian teams with Balic, Vori, Metlicic etc. and to beat you like that while Norway beats France is just wow!
Everyone in arena thought we were through too because no one anticipated us to lose by more than 3. I said at the time it was tricky because Norway winning gave hope to Croatia, slim but hope, and if they could hit us early on then it could become tricky. Did not see the same people being so happy about Norway winning afterwards.

Bad beginning and Croatia started feeling blood, then Poland simply imploded mentally - they wanted it too much and they went into the game thinking they're already through, they did not expect such heavy loss. I imagine if we kept Croatia's lead to 5 or 6 goals withing 5 minutes from time we'd have reduced to 3 because Croatia would have lost hope. Instead they were up by 17.

Statements against homophobia isn't something political - that's common sense.
It is politics because he's trying to interfere with our law, it was against Poland not recognising same-sex marriages, right? It's pretty easy to label anything as homophobic nowadays.

What's the WC in Qatar's got to do with this? You're taking this the wrong way. I know it was EHF that forbade "the gay armband", and it's an EHF tournament. I said the tournament was homophobic, I didn't even mention Poland... Anyway, I sort of regret mentioning it off the cuff, not because it wasn't true, but because it derailed the thread from being about Norway being awesome.
