Haha Newcastle

Our win also made us face City in the Community Shield instead of Arsenal

I'd totally missed this element - had wondered why people were laughing at Arsenal.
Although not sure missing out on a glorified pre season friendly is a disaster?

Had the displeasure of watching with a Newcastle fan who was screaming at the TV and begging City to win.

Was very weird.

Funny how they have missed out on European football altogether next season.

Out of interest does anyone have Bruno Guimaraes hat celebration gif from last weekend?

As well as yesterday's VAR Michael Oliver being on the payroll of city's owners, in refereeing matches in the UAE, there was another conflict of interest in that Newcastle needed United to lose, for them to qualify for European football next season. So, why the feck was he the VAR?

Odd that their co-owners Staveley and Ghodoussi are leaving. Wonder who they’re selling their shares to.

She was just a dealbreaker to make it all nice, so there was a person in front of it all. Always looked cold as feck - all about the money person. Now she gets some payment back.

Saudi still runs the club.

That can't be right, the Premier League and the Tories assured us that the Saudi government have no control over Newcastle.

Why are this lot so desperate to force a rivalry with us? Trying to be relevant I guess. They're such a massive club that their sporting director fecked them off after just one year as soon as we batted our eyelashes at him.

As far as I can tell for them I'm not sure if it is forced. United really have been their biggest/most hated rivals for the last 30 years.

United fans just didn't realize.

They think they are our rivals because they were very briefly title contenders in the 90s (and I suspect the Alan Shearer thing plays into it too).
