Film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3

I liked the bit where Drax laughed and then had an argument with Quill about killing people. I'm looking forward to this, it looks very original.

Can't wait.

Shame this is the last we will see of James Gunn in the mcu but if this sticks the landing, will be a great trilogy of movies.

Very true, but weirdly this is one of the few Marvel things I have time for - probably cos of Chris Pratt and James Gunn.

The second one was very lazy though, hope there's a bit of an effort with the scenario.

It's James gunn so should be good.
Their use in Thor is still mind boggling but oh well.

Hopefully a great villain

Is 2 good?
Its a good lead up to infinity war and fun if you like the characters

Last time Gunn gets involved with MCU, I expect him to deliver another fun film.

Looking forward to Adam Warlock’s introduction.

I went to watch a double bill of the first two a couple of years ago and thought it was probably the most boring four hours of my life.

I ducked out for 20 minutes into the second one to grab a coffee and lied to my date by saying the queue was the size of Batista's chest.

Then even worse I had to pretend I liked the movies and make conversation on the way home when everything inside me was screaming to go all @Sweet Square on it.

Anyway, I'm hoping this third one is good (I'm sure it will be).

GOTG, I actually like these films, the cast are funny together, hopefully it can be the last bastion of some real quality in the Marvel series, in what's become a pointless heap of annoying and repetitive, cash-cow-milking sh*te.

Yeah as others said, this and the Waititi Thor films were the only things left I care about, and his second Thor film was apparently shite, so hopefully this isn't, cause James Gunn usually delivers. Actually don't think I've watched anything Marvel since Endgame apart from the Spiderman films and Wandavision, which is nice.

I weirdly still liked the second one even though a lot of the tension in it seemed a bit stupid and came out of the blue (Quill and Rocket are suddenly at each others throats, Ego just casually say "oh and I killed your mum Iol").

I'm glad that this third movie seems a bit more serious in tone than the last two, I just hope that when the jokes do come it's not as jarring and forced like it was in The Suicide Squad.

Best dating advice when having to watch shite movies -

Adam Warlock finally making it in will be interesting. Especially since his best known stories were Infinity Gauntlet and vs Thanos.

High Evolutionary as villian could be fun

Rocket is dead:(
I reckon so. A lot of people think it'll be drax but I reckon it's too obvious, I reckon drax survives and moves on.

I don't even think Rocket dies, I reckon he just becomes a regular racoon.

Rocket will turn out to be one of HE'S experiments. No one wil die. Some one liners will be had and Star Lord will triumphantly return to ruining Jurassic Park or whatever he is up to these days.

New trailer. Looks good, but then they managed to cobble together a decent trailer from Love and Thunder, so...

I know I have more faith in James Gunn that Waititi though!

Think this will be a great send off for the gotg. But still frustrating we didn't get much of an adventure with them and Thor after the endgame ending and tease.

This has snuck up and is being released tomorrow. Supposedly the last guardians film, let's see what happens.

Seeing this Friday. Can't wait. Will be watching the first 2 before I see it.

At this point the Marvel shows are better than the movies.

What a film. Easily best theyve done since infinity war IMO. Probably beats first guardians too.

I loved it. The showcase for each character as well as their strengths (and some of the backstory) was brilliant.

A really enjoyable fun movie
Loved one hallway action scene in particular near the final act.

Great send off for the team and a great way to end the trilogy. I enjoyed the Spiderman and Shang chi movies but agree with @SalfordRed18 , best movie since the avengers one.

Also makes me wonder what the hell was the point for the end of endgame with them going off with Thor and then pretty much being dismissed at the start of the previous Thor movie.

Half way through I realised, Thor could have easily been in this movie and love and thunder could have easily come after without changing anything. Seems like they dropped the ball here a little and my only slight criticism.
