Who would you rather?

He had 2 goals in 8 appearances last season.
Albeit he did well this season with 5 goals and 2 assists, his atrocious finishing played a part into Mac City's early exit. As a matter of fact he has missed the second most big chances this season and should have had much more goals than his present goal tally. Would you like to guess who has missed the most BC's this season?

Its a bit unfair to be comparing record against big teams for a person who plays for a much weaker team. Nevertheless his goal tally against top 4/5 opposition is the same as Aguero and more than Zlatan albeit he has played more games. But as many has said he is still 23 years old and there is no way of telling how these young stars will perform against top flight opposition. Was Martial proven at the biggest stage when we signed him? Was Rashford? Ronaldo? Rooney?

Frankly, the fact that he is one of four players to reach the 80 goal mark(in EPL) before turning 24 is insane and should be enough to convince that he is going to be the real deal.

These guys forget how isolated number nines for midtable teams are against top 5-6 opposition. It's usually themselves vs two cb's for 70 % of the match

Lukaku, if he can bang in 24 goals a season with Everton he can bag 30 with us. Most other top CF around aren't even attainable.

I chose Griezmann, but I think Lukaka suits a Mourinho team more.

Not convinced by either, Griezmann is playing in a league where the competition is not as strong as the PL he has not been that impressive against Barca and Real. He may struggle over a long season here, Lukaku is used to the premier league and if played for a better team may be very effective.

Just read an article on Fourfourtwo which highlighted Griezmann's suitability. It basically says Griezmann has worked under Simeone, which makes him 'ready' to play for Mourinho (vs Mkhitaryan). Also mentioned some of his underrated attributes like heading, improved playmaking and versatility.

I think it's fairly obvious at this point that he's proven quality and trains well enough to play in the PL. He should be our first priority in attack.

Rashford and Griezmann upfront as a 2 please.

Rashford showed he is twice the player when paired as a 2 man strike force vs Chelsea, his partner was Lingard and caused Chelsea a lot of trouble. Swap Lingard for the best SS in the world and it will be devistating. Play a 4312 Inter style, no wingers since we don't actually have any.

Rashford - Griezmann
Mkhitaryan
Pogba - Fabinho - Herrera
Mendy - Koulibaly - Bailly - Valencia
Dave/Romero

If Lukaku was unplayable, like he can be, in every game then it'd be a harder choice.
