Yeah, Flamini, Arteta and Rosicky all confirmed to leave.

With Welbeck's injury I think they'll hang on to the likes of Walcott and Giroud.
One of Walcott and Oxlade has to be going, I think.

Manchester United and SAF, I'd rather call SAF the prime example for building a team, and not just trying to get the best players available. He built teams in a way that the players in it improvednand looked to exceed their ability/standard, look at the decline from some of the players in SAF last season.
I got your point, youre partly right but he was also the example who always said what I mention that you will always find a palce for a quality palyer, like he did with Berbatov or RVP even though we were stacked..
Anyways it's always good to have a balance in the team and of course there is no need for 11 world class palyers in the team 6 is supposed to be enough to win the champions league, you dont need as much for winning the league but you need to fill that with team players but that we agree on I think, Arsenal has nothing to lose if they bring Xhaka who again brings something different let alone more quality to the team than the two IMO, coquelin who came out of nowhere will accept more rotation squad role while Elneny never thought of starting before coming to Arsenal, good squad depth is very important and by xhaka they are not bringing superstar footballer but proven quality player who in this market costs a lot but brings the quality while not being as hyped as James rodrigues for real for example.. he'd defo be a sensible signing. Ask any Arsenal fan, I doubt you find a single one who'd disagree and would find coq and elneny enough to compete for DM in their team, let alone the fact that there will be a place after Arteta and Flamini if I remember well that he's not staying either..

Not good enough in my opinion to play for us.

Cool name though.

I expect he'll play next to a B2B - Ramsey or Wilshere predominantly. I can also see him playing next to the Coq if we're playing defensively.

Arsenal have been three players away from winning the league for the last five years.

Wenger is reluctant to spend big on three or four because if they don't win it he's got no excuses.

Quite literally every year, since the dawn of time, Arsenal have been one striker, one midfielder and one defender from winning the league.

Hmm... I'm still not sure how you would pronounce that. Do you have some other words that start with J that would work?

If I'm not mistaken it's a "dg" like in edge.

Xh spells the same as G in George.
Well I think it is more like Đ like in Đoković. It is Albanian surname.
And Đ is almost the same as G in George... I wonder how many times you said Đoković now in you head
.

In reality there is a slight difference between Xh and Gj in Albanian, with Xh being a stronger version of Gj.

In Kosovan dialect (Xhaka is from Kosovo), there is virtually no difference in spelling between those two letters.

How the feck do you say his surname?
I'm happy with calling him Shaka (as in Shaka Zulu), but don't know how far I am off.

Not good enough in my opinion to play for us.

IMO he is not even good enough for Arsenal. He'll be a Rosicky level player for them, which means: No title yet again.

Did Arsenal really need another holding midfielder? I thought they had the position covered with Coq, Elneny & Chambers (if and when required).

Is this guy's passing superlative? @Balu, please shed some light. If you already have, please direct me to your previous posts.

Those three you list aren't able to build well from deep, Elneny is a good short passer but more someone to keep things ticking over. We've struggled badly this season because our passing from that position has been so poor. Arteta was great at it for us but we

Arsenal still needs a right winger, a striker, a CB.

I'd stick Alexis to the right, on the left out of Ox & Iwobi

Rosicky was an excellent player that was obviously consistently hampered by injuries, poor call on your part. It was nothing to do with his ability and everything to do with his injuries.

The problem with Arsenal is that Rosicky is considered an excellent player.
But I agree with you on that, then Xhaka will be an excellent player, too.

Rosicky was a good player but injuries wrecked the guy. Also how much of Xhaka have you seen?
