Graeme Sourness | Retires from “punditry”

He's being very positive about Ronaldo's potential impact now.

He must've calmed down, he genuinely looked like he was about to have a heart attack 20 mins ago

Does Graeme have an official twitter account? Would be great if we could just flood his account with Pogba pics all day

Comedy gold. Not sure I've ever seen a pundit so triggered by a specific player likr Graeme with Pogba. Absurd that he is even insinuating Pogba wanted to do him.

If it was any other player he would've moved swiftly on. Because it's Pogba it turned into an obsessive rant about legs being broke.

Souness is such a bitter and sad person.

All those years coming from behing from 7 PL leagues and winning 13 without reply from his team left such deep scars in his intellect.

If it was Milner, Henderson, Thiago, Robertson and the rest of the'Pool hackers then it would not be anything for him.

Imagine if Pogba pulled out of the tackle. Souness would be having a field day calling him a coward. Pogba can't win with him.

I think it probably was cos he caught him a bit high and you could argue it's reckless. Depends how much we're letting go this season, he only slightly caught him tbf, not like Sounness was saying.
He grazed his shin pad! This is boiling down to I saw his shin pad move a little.

Neves looked at Dean and went on a couple of steps then dropped to the grass like a bag of potatoes trying to fool Dean.
That was the only good thing that Dean did throughout the match!
agreed. football has become way too much about players looking for fouls instead of trying to carry on first.

he wasn’t hurt, he realised he lost the ball and decided to try and invent a foul.

well done mike dean.

First time I've agreed with Souness. He didnt say anything untrue about Pogba, just that he had a bad touch, they both went for the ball - It happens.

IT is a free kick and its poor from the ref and VAR. But glad they fecked up. Huge 3 points.

just realised who Sounness reminds me of now - my old man

just completely random bursts of anger that come out of no where, that are totally out of context and tone for pretty much everything that's come before

Sky will love Sourness tonight. The amount of engagements they'll get off his comments. They'll be hawking that to advertisers.

Yeah that's the key thing.

I thought his actual argument was fair enough, I think it was a foul by Pogba and we got away with it.

It was the sheer anger of him that was mental, he looked like he was going to burst into tears. He was also so rude to Robbie Keane , just shouting over him and dismissing him even though he was actually agreeing with Souness.

Weirdo.

He spent more time on Pogba though (“leg breaker”) and hardly anything on Mike Dean or VAR. He made it seem (to anyone just watching him) that Pogba had got away with a dangerous foul when it’s up to the ref/VAR to decide… personally, if he’d given a FK, I’d have thought ok (just) but the lad runs two steps, looks at Dean, hops then falls over- it’s screaming “DIVE”
