Golf 2023

Jon Rahm is a fantastic golfer but is it just me or is it he hasn't played that well this week and is still 4 clear?

Just you...Koepka has battled his swing in the final 18, causing him to lose his lead and then some for a 7 or 8 stroke swing against Rahm.

You have to grind out long stretches at Augusta and if you give yourself to make a run like Phil did, you've played well.

The way Rahm had managed the last 18 and still strike the ball, putt, and score while not getting wrapped up in the leaderboard song and dance has been extremely worthy...so far.

Rahm has played so well since he took the lead, just played sensible golf and hasn’t pushed it as he hasn’t needed to. Good game management.

3 LIV guys in the top 5 is pretty funny. Some nice ammo for them.

Can't beat a day 4 collapse and this tops Norman, Spieth or Mcilroy simply because of LIV. They definitely thought they had it, feck em.

I respect Harold Varner III’s honesty.

“Y’all didn’t come here to grow the fecking game. You came here to line your fecking pockets.”

That Washington Post article was fantastic.

What another approach shot by Rahm. Well done sir, well done.

Playing darts when it counted this round.

Hell of a performance by Rahm. Locked in and committed for every shot, stayed the course and didn't sway from his approach. That's so hard to do, to trust the feel, the swing, everything.

Never seen a provisional before ? Does that mean a dropped shot for him or?
One plays a provisional when one thinks the first ball may be unplayable or lost. It’s basically a pace of play rule so one doesn’t have to head back to where the shot was played from.

don’t forget Rahm was on the wrong side of the draw. To win by 4 when Koepka was on the right of the draw is some going.

If you’re Brooks though… 2 masters in contention and should have won both but melted…

But that's what the major does to the best golfers. It's about executing and closing it down at the back 9.

The Masters starts on the back 9 on Sunday. Those holes are special, historic, and obviously separate the haves to the have nots.

When it comes to Koepka, he's thus far a have not at The Masters. He had back to back 70s on the weekend...that's not getting it done.
