The fans will want rid of Ole because he hasn't the experience or record to bring United success. However, will stand and watch clueless Ed to run the football club.
I suppose one is easy to change, and the other many are just resigned to not leaving until our owners do, but you are 100 % right, and we should all stand behind Ole, not because he is the right manager, but because he is far from our biggest problem.
If the owners want to stick with Woodward after Ole goes, or worse feel he is reflection of what they want for the club, or even worse are happy with what he's doing, or even worse than that feel he is just carrying out orders, then we are truly and utterly fecked.
100% agree. But feel we will be stuck in mediocrity whilst Ed is here. He has shown NOTHING to suggest we can be successful under his stewardship. If our fans were truly supporters of the club, we'd be against this board. All the bickering about Ole wouldn't exist. It should be plain and obvious by now that Ed is the real problem here.
United have been successful with the Glazers. They’re rubbish owners but the number 1 priority should be sacking Woodward. He came in the Summer of 2013 and things have been shite since. Obviously that had something to do with Fergie leaving but he is the embodiment of this shite era we are in.

Because a better manager/coach would coach the team in a much better way and make a average squad punch above their weight. We'd also be higher than our current league position and would see our funds spent in a much more economical way which would reflect in a more balanced team. Why do fans who want Ole out first think we will get better results? Ed has proven the environment he has created whilst being in charge is not manageable. People like Ratcliff have commented. Two of the biggest DoF's have commented.

We had two coaches before in LVG and Mourinho who were damaged goods and missed out on the ones I would've preferred in Klopp and Tuchel. We should aim for Nagelsmann or Rose this time around. The issue with LVG and Mourinho was player turnover which fecked the foundations of the team. But we had two of the best coaches before as well and didn't get anywhere.
Ok, so if we get in Poch and it doesn't work, then what?

If Ole is shown the door then i'm expecting a DoF to be appointed because the pressure and scruitiny on Woodward will have reached unprecedented proportions. So I expect the next coaching appointment to be working with a clearer vision and structure.
I don't think a Rose or Nagelsmann will arrive without the club selling a longterm vision/plan. The only one that will arrive in such circumstances is Poch who made it clear he didn't want/like working under a DoF type figure at Spurs. It's also why I believe he lost the dressing room and ended up getting sacked. A DoF is also a buffer between the players and head coach which is very important for the longterm harmony among the squad. If we get Rangnick (or someone of the same ilk), then yes, we make progress. But there is NOTHING to suggest we will get a DoF as Ed has come out multiple times recently talking about how we got the transfers correct this summer etc. So, if we sack Ole, I'm fully expecting the burden of recruiting to be on the new man, with another influx of players coming in and out, without no real plan.

It was a damn site better than this though Somehow that is forgotten.
Biggest problem with both Mou and LVG was that they didn't fit the "United-way". The solution next time is to get a TOP manager that fits.
Believe it or not, we've actually got a plan whereby we have a transfer comittee now which is similar to the approach at a few other clubs. It remains to be seen if it will be successful in the longrun.I'm not against recruiting Poch whatsoever, I just don't think Ed provides an environment for any manager to be successful in. I'd love to be proven wrong but can't see it.
There is speculation by Gab Marcotti of ESPN (sorry, can’t post media yet but look in YouTube: he is usually fairly conservative) that Joe Lewis wants to sell Tottenham. If so, that would be a MUCH cheaper price for Saudi and a better sports washing prospect than even Chelsea (London, weak history, new stadium and training ground).
if so, there will be NO other way that the Glazers could ever be bought out and Tottenham would join Liverpool, City and maybe Chelsea in pulling away from us.
No idea...most probably ordering a murderOk where is this Saudi twitter dude now?
Would be really fecking annoyed if Spurs become one of the super rich clubs. There is speculation by Gab Marcotti of ESPN (sorry, can’t post media yet but look in YouTube: he is usually fairly conservative) that Joe Lewis wants to sell Tottenham. There are 285 billionaires in China. With at least 10 worth $16bn or more. Hopefully one or a group of them may decide they want to buy the club. There must be a few more billionaires in the world these days who have nothing better to do with their money, China maybe?
Why do you think Jose joined Spurs? He knows he’s about to get the biggest purse in world football.....perhaps!There is speculation by Gab Marcotti of ESPN (sorry, can’t post media yet but look in YouTube: he is usually fairly conservative) that Joe Lewis wants to sell Tottenham. Eh? The Saudis buying Spurs? The club which fans refers to themselves as the "Yids"? If you're worth 16bn you're not dropping a third of that on an investment if it's not with the view to make some serious profit. Realistically only a state can buy us without caring about recouping their investmentThere are 285 billionaires in China. With at least 10 worth $16bn or more. True no private individual is buying us at the price that the Glazers would demand. It just doesn't make sense to spend the best part of four billion on an asset that will require another billion on playing staff and infrastructure which has an operating profit of circa £100m - £150m. Might as well just buy bonds if they have any cash lying around. If you're worth 16bn you're not dropping a third of that on an investment if it's not with the view to make some serious profit.
