It won't be long until we'll turn to Barcelona in terms of debt, we're not that far away
I think influential United fans should be looking into getting the government involved on the basis of some law about threats to institutions of historical significance? Is there something like that in England? How can this be allowed?Jesus. I mean, when you look at that graphic. Just, feck me.

Outside the office block in Washington DC that Joel Glazer uses as a command centre for Manchester United, 3,500 miles from Old Trafford, is a sign that those who oppose the club’s owners will see as strikingly apt.
“United Bank: 24 hour ATM,” it reads.
By quirk of circumstance, a namesake cash machine, open all day long, is located at the foot of the building. Standing on the pavement next to it, there is a line of sight up to the windows of the 10th floor, where Joel does his work when he’s in town.
The accusation that the Glazer family treat United as their personal cash machine is well-established by those who protest against the club’s ownership. Gary Neville makes the comparison in his book The People’s Game: A View From A Front Seat in Football. “Essentially, it’s seemingly all about taking money out,” he writes.
No we’ll just keep hiring and firing managers, waste money and have no strategy whatsoeverProbably many have forgotten this thread, the movement; but now is a good time, in fact it should go on until we see what we want. The HT humiliation today is proof enough, and come end of the year, those yanks will be happily receive the millions of quid in bonus, and dividends while we the fans will be bickering at each other the players, the coach, staff, ex players, legends and every one within united.
Off the pitch, the club is absolutely rotten.
Hope the protests are back for the next home game.
Money ! Seriously everything they do is in order to squeeze more money out of season ticket holders and regulars.wonder what their incentive is behind this, ticket touts, protestors? seem to many on that thread saying been wrongly accused aswell. Proving you were at a game is mental. if the club are being genuine then it even shows their equipment is not fit for purpose

You get a suspension if you miss too many games. Why would you have to prove you were at the game?
No the club is a business, they are not really 'entitled' to asset strip it as it would then not function and fans woudl really revolt. The bigger question is why they wont sell but then run is so appallingly badly. Chiefly by appointing a string of muppets to run the club. The amount of money wasted is insane. They also buy off protests but approving a couple of panicked signings. But this doesnt alter the lack of any coherent football structure nor the state of the stadium. Nothing changes.I don't buy that. They could take a lot more. They're literally entitled to every penny we make. They're not great owners but we're pretty shit as an ATM. They could make billions profit selling us.
This narrative They're in it for a quick few quid is reviving the MUST trope of treating fans like fecking morons. Criticism needs to be around how effective they as owners not around pretending fans are fecking stupid. Alas 16+ years in and the 'fecking stupid' option is too irresistible. But we know investment is being made looking at the playing staff and overall spend in recent years. Assuming fans are a thick as goldfish has been primary reason no protest has maintained fan support for any significant period of time
Hope the home crowd make it as toxic as hell to the board and owners.
I’ve only seen this 9-10bn quote from the Star or some shit rag like that.Yeah especially after that ridiculous valuation they made this week to scare buyers off

They haven't made any valuation. They don't need to scare buyers off. They own the club, they don't have to answer the phone.
So much of this is fuelled by people believing stuff like this that literally cannot be true. It would be totally illogical for it to be so.
If you didn't want to sell your house would you stick it on Rightmove.co.uk at 7X its real value and say "that'll show the bastards"? Or would you just.. you know... not sell your house?
Glazer talk gets insane so quickly so often as people seemingly have no filter when it comes to believing absolutely everything written by absolutely everybody.
This is an absolutely insane analogy. It just isn’t how multi billion pound acquisitions happen, none of these assets are “for sale”, they do however all have their price. What these deals need is somebody to come to the table to meet that price. They haven't made any valuation. They don't need to scare buyers off. They own the club, they don't have to answer the phone.

Agree 100%. Look, when they or important clients go, they will hear the jeering and protests, that does help make things uncomfortable. Who wants to pay 300 quid to hear Glazer out for 90 minutes.Good luck to all involved in the protests. Give them hell and let the parasites know how much we hate them.
YesThe protests need to be in USA as well. Around their homes, around their offices, around when the Buccaneers play at home. Thats the only way they will be affected I think. Keep bad reviewing all their sponsors as well.
