Glazers / Woodward out! (One down)

That's simply being negative. A year ago there were so many people saying United would be impossible for someone to buy. What Chelsea showed us is that it's very possible that if we ever went on sale we would have many suitors, many of whom do not need to be like City's or PSG's.

It also proves the Glazers are not willing to sell at the moment ( well at least prior to this year)
Eh? I've seen the word negative used in some absolutely dumb ways but this takes the cake.

Who's buying United at $5-6bn when the market values it at about $2-3bn? You have some spare cash?

Was reading through an article reading the debt used to buy United and the mind boggles. We paid £265m in interest payments between 2005 and 2009 - an average of about £65m per year. 2009 was the year we sold Ronaldo for £80m, and spent £20m total in return on Valencia, Owen and Obertan..

Overall servicing of the debt (which still stands at £500m and has interest of £25m a year) cost more than £1b by 2019..
On top of that the glazers have regularly taken dividend payments yearly since 2015 (£20m in 2019), all 6 of the siblings earn a director's salary of about a £1m each and have taken loans out against the club. They paid themsleves a further £10m between 2005 and 2010 as management fees.

Mind boggling figures.

That does not sound too convincing to me. And shave that hair, what is he clinging onto.

That guy is clueless. It's the other Glazer that's more involved. I'm confident in EtH and if he is backed, we know where to look.

That hair... Guy's giving me the heebie-jeebies every time I lay eyes on him.

He should have asked him what the new managers name is. Not sure he would have gotten that right. Less said the better.

They better deliver this coming season and they know it. Will kick off if it’s anything like last season. Enough is enough.

feels horrible today. Another sad day for this club.

For all their faults I did not think the club would allow that £11m to be taken by the Glazer family while it's been leaked that we are about £10m short of Barca's valuation of De Jong and struggling to sign anyone in the wake of our worst ever PL season

The club is absolutely tone deaf, as some put it. Awful PR

If United end up having a poor transfer window I can envisage protests early on in the season. Fingers crossed that won’t be the case though.

They own the club, what are you expecting the club to do to stop them exactly?

Even if purely for PR reasons with little substance, I thought the club would at least do a Boris Johnson and deflect attention to some 'good news' - leaking that a new bid is going in for a player etc, it keeps fans feeling something is being done and some progress is being made

They're taking the money while it's abundantly clear that the club are being tight and can't afford anything. Seems they can't even afford the £2m Watford want for a backup GK

Ah yeah, they don’t really care about saving face when it comes to their personal pitfalls.

There isn’t a single person on this forum or anyone I’ve met in real life who fits this moniker.

There used to be some very pro Glazer posters on here. This is going back a good few years though.

Happy they got their allowance. Don't forget to be patient and tell others how we'll get there in the end... in September....

Goldtrafford and I think the Manc red devil really sold the how good they are for the club. Epic meltdowns brought their times here to an end. Debt is good and look at how they're experts in growing revenues was the spiel.

This club is dying and all these slimy feckers are interested in is getting their greedy paws on their pocket money.

The premier League, the FA and everyone else should be ashamed at how they have allowed the biggest club in the country to be systematically destroyed by these leeches.

Yeah there was a good few Glazer shills around defending them. Always thought they were a bunch of weirdos to be honest.

When we were dominating and buying the likes of Berbatov, Nani, Hargreaves etc there were a lot of positive views on the Glazers. Funny that.

Can we name and shame Glazer sympathisers. So many around now.
Had a few idiots on Facebook telling me they're not that bad because they spend loads on transfers! Thankfully there doesn't seem to be any on here

With hindsight the fans should have purchased shares. Then you don't have to accept any takeover if no one will sell.
