I’d take 3 years in the championship if that what it takes.

I'm not a massive fan of this guy. But he does talk some sense in this video.
Net spend this summer £75m January £0.
Net spend last summer £55m January £0.
Yet sone United fans just accept it.
I have a bridge to sell you. When and where would you like to meet to discuss this opportunity?
That is in addition to the one Woody and/or the Glazers have sold you.

Poch had a much better squad to start with, also a brand new stadium to show for it afterwards! One of the most impressive in the league (meanwhile Old Trafford looks tired and in need of a refresh). What do we have to show for our ridiculously low net spend?Wait. Didn't Sanchez come last January? Am I missing something?
Didn't Pottechino spend 0 last summer as well?
Agreed. Although if we fixed it now I dont think we are 5-10 years behind City. Problem is, these looting cowboys won't fix anything so it will be us in decline for the foreseeable future. We won't be a top club again until Woodward and the Glazers go. Fergie isn't here to hold it all together anymore for them to hide behind.
When you take 1bn out of a football club and at the same time make mistake after mistake it comes.with consequences. And those are we are 5-10 years behind City now.
fecking can't wait till they all feck off.

Now is the perfect time to hire a DOF but will Woodward do it? I won't hold my breath.
Don’t really know, just roumors going about DD is selling his sharesBuying a second football club? Or getting rid of one and moving on to another?
Who finished with a higher league position the previous season?Poch had a much better squad to start with, also a brand new stadium to show for it afterwards!
In what context is 75m pounds a low net spend? What do we have to show for our ridiculously low net spend?
Why does the transfer fee matter more than getting better the player in the swap and paying him astronomical wages? Seems odd.Sanchez was a swap with Miki.
Asking questions for clarification. What's your point? Or do you not have one?

I despise the Glazers. For reference, I lived at No. 12 Sir Matt Busby Way from 2003-2007 (we thought we were getting No. 10, Ruud Manor, but we got next door, Bellion Lodge) and we had a LUHG banner the full length of our house for the last 18months or so.
However, what I’ve come to realise in the time since is that the game I love, the one I fell in love with as a 7 year old watching Italia 90 in South Manchester, has gone. Sure, the Glazers are sh*t. They’re parasitic, money grubbing scum that will hawk our name to flog any old tat.... but so will anyone else.
City, it pains me to say, are fantastically well run as a football club, but look at their owners; they’re human rights violating, sports washing c**ts. That’s who will buy us. Or some other American c**ts that will slap our name onto noodles and tractors. The Glazers could sell us tomorrow, but it doesn’t mean that we’ll get our soul back. That went a long time ago and the devil doesn’t do refunds.
It’s not us specifically, it’s the game. It’s a multi billion dollar industry, not locals huddled together on terraces joined in the communion of hope, relief and song. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel a fair bit; wherever you go in the world, if you say you’re from Manchester the first response is “Oh, Manchester United!”. That means there’s money to be made.
The sad truth is that, as with everything else in the world right now, the middle will be squeezed and the world forced into an hour glass; see Bury for an example. The next decade or so will see a European Super League, probably delivered by Netflix or Amazon and the mass amateurisation of the smaller League One and League Two clubs. And if you think I’m being too pessimistic, the Championship average 106% of turnover paid out as wages in 2017-18. Marcos Rojo earns north of £100kpw.
My heart is torn, as logically I despise everything that we have become, but, to paraphrase and borrow from the great Sir Bobby Robson, emotionally there is still that little boy, walking over the bridge to Old Trafford, walking up the steps to the stand, eyes wide in wonderment at the vastness of the hallowed turf... and falling hopelessly in love for the first time in my life.
That's exactly the point. They are clueless and have no idea about running a successful football team. Only a successful business. They are great at marketing but have no clue in succession planning or realistic plans to get anyone in who does.I’m not massive fans of the owners or Ed but I really don’t agree with a lot of the hate directed towards them. Up till mourinho’s last season they have chucked good money after bad backing the managers. It’s not worked and I think now they are spending last season and this season correcting it all. I think they will spend big again this January onwards now we’ve started shipping out a few. Granted I accept they are bloody clueless giving such as Sanchez the contract he got but half the extensions given to others are just protecting assets so they can sell on and don’t lose for nothing. Granted, it doesn’t always work out. Oles in charge now and I think these recent departures are much more telling than signings. I think they’ve finally realised

Weird response. Before that season, he said his team was equipped to win the title and it was his team.If you're referring to Jose Mourinhos "biggest ever achievement" then I agree with him. It was.
Why are you comparing the spending with a newly promoted team? That seems odd. Why not compare it with the same teams in similar years? Why ignore the previous two season where he spent nearly 300m?The net spend in context with Aston Villa spending double what Manchester United have. Or compared with other top European club with similar revenue and fanbase. Take Real Madrid as example.
How am I deflecting when I'm asking you the questions? Don't be petty. Let's try this again. These questions are getting silly now. Quite obviously deflection. What seems odd is your consistent irrational defence of our owners. Extremely odd.
This is where the anger should be directed.
These blood suckers are the real culprits
No Ole hot what he wanted. He's the idiot who thinks Rashford will score 20 plus goals a season
United have gone from league winners to competing for top 4 to now competing for top 6 while Ed Woodward still has a job
