Jaysus I just put it on and they really are like a bad tribute act of themselves. I went off them a while back but they're currently murdering one of the tracks I am fond of.
That 12 string sound never gets boring though. This is decent.

The charm of the classics is them sang in the Sheffield accent. Sang with this fake crooner voice is horrific

I really enjoy Mirrorball, not a huge fan of the album but a good song.

I don't understand why they've changed their sound over the last two albums. Just when I was finally starting to get into them, which is just typical. I'm finding this set very flat. Like a bottle of coke that's been open for a few days.
To me at least it's a rock band headlining

The BBC iPlayer QHD footage is incredible quality, seen it a few times on the football. Puts broadcast HD channels to shame.

I don’t think you understand any of it to be honest. You do know it’s not just a dj set where they fade two songs in and out?
Every time you see Fred Again.. you’ll hear different versions of the same songs. The live performances are littered with mistakes, or three minute songs stretched to 10 minutes, or mad shit throw in for the location they’re performing in.
You seem to think it’s just a playlist, which is mad. It’s live music in exactly the same way Bands are.
Unsurprisingly the newer songs actually written in that style sound better than the old ones played like karaoke.
