Glastonbury 2017

I'm off to see Brendan Rodgers' band The Runs.

I want to see Seasick Steve on Sunday, I think he is quality.
I love Seasick Steve. Saw him twice at Glasto and once in a small pub gig. The noise that guy can produce. is immense.

Who the feck is on red button 1 now?
at the moment just radiohead, all the others come on at 10:30, if you've not seen it watch the Royal Blood set. best of the day so far.

Red button channels are on now on freeview (601-603), was some ginger woman who was raging with poems or some shit.

Missed royal blood is it on iplayer?
yeah

Watching Radiohead now. Was just at them in Dublin on Tuesday night

Their new stuff is really growing on me.

Cool might have to watch that, radiohead are a bit boring, dont know any of their new stuff.
I turned them back on while waiting, thing is they've also been playing some of their old stuff, just hard to recognise it.

I am going to look for one of his gigs near Manchester.

Don't think he's going there anytime soon. I saw him at a festival and he was awesome. The next year I got a £40 return to Germany. 2 days, 1 night hotel and gig ticket for £150. Highly recommend.

Saw them some time ago in manchester. They're still one of the best bands live in my opinion even better than Muse.
Mmm

I was at muse last year and Radiohead this week

Both were great, but muse takes it for me.

They're amazing live. Problem is they've so many songs that it can be luck of the draw with the set list. They're really pulling the best ones out for Glastonbury tonight though.

Looks like they've been playing quality sets throughout this tour. Picking out brilliant songs from every album but not necessarily the most obvious ones.

I saw them last year after AMSP came out, and whilst I think it's a brilliant album it's not really full of great live songs. They're playing all my fecking favourites tonight though and I'm still pissed I missed the Dublin gig after seeing that set list. Would've killed to see Let Down, Pyramid song and how to disappear completely live.

Wow. I went to Muse a few years ago and wouldn't put them in the same ballpark. Muse are just too camp and overblown for me.
Not much in it

But I thought they were outstanding.

The sheer fecking noise and light show and drones flying around, was just that bit better for me

Was a little disappointed they didn't play street spirit in Dublin

Just looking at tonight's set list. They finish off with creep. Bastards! I wanted that so badly

Muse are very good live, bit too progressive at times.

Just watching royal blood now, they are good live. Getting josh homme vibes of the singer of how he has that swagger and confidence. Drummer looks like a love child of ed woodward and a glazer though.

Nothing progressive about Muse.

They're a really good live band, to be fair, but I wouldn't put their music anywhere near Radiohead's, it's just more audience friendly.

Royal Blood are great. Amazing sound they make from just a drum-kit and bass guitar. Need to catch them live.
