Thank you for your valuable input on this discussion, you've countered by worthless statement with a worthless post yourself....
Go on then, enlighten me as to what exactly your post was trying to say? You've shown yourself as having no idea what constitutes a 2-footed tackle or a red card. You sound like Mark Lawrenson on the MOTD sofa.... "yeah well, not saying it was a red card but I've seen them given" ie Pointless.

Anyone got the angle showing that Johnson DOES catch Valencia? Trying to settle an argument with a typically blinkered scouser...

So full of fail. So Johnson sprints back to cause a penalty and get kneed in the balls by Reina.

I also wonder whose level of body coordination looks worse, Johnson's or Reina's?

No fecks have been given by me whatsoever but I am still finding it hard to understand peoples adamance that it is a stonewall penalty.

Can you please point out to me where I have said his tackle was two footed or it was a red card? Before comparing me to Lawrenson why don't you actually read what I said, I said he went in with one foot and his second foot wasn't far behind. No point have I said it was a red card either, just said I've seen rrf cards given for similar tackles would like me to back up every statement I said with video evidence or something? So basically both your points are a load of rubbish.

One of my mates was adamant it wasn't a penalty but from this and from the replay I can't see how that isn't a penalty. Johnson is stupid as Reina has closed the angle down so doesn't need to dive in when he can't win the ball. Maybe Valencia makes a meal of it but still a foul.

He says Luis Suarez towards the end, doesnt he?
Clearly heard the chant and thought it was funny..

"I've seen red cards given for similar tackles" - is worthless because you're not saying whether you think it's a red card or not, you're just hiding behind a non-committal cliche.

And you said it was "almost" 2-footed. What does that mean? I mean I know it means nothing, essentially, but what did you mean?

What's this about video evidence? I think it's you that's talking rubbish, because I have no idea what you're on about now!

It's probably best to put this in this thread:

Yes, he was far away, but linesman should see that clearly. Mind you, he had clear view for that situation with Kagawa, and still we didn't get anything, eventough that could have been easy penalty too.

I need a GIF of Welbeck at the end against Cluj, Anderson had an easy through ball to put him through on goal on the halfway line but it was so far off where Welbeck wanted/expected it he turned round baffled at the pass even though he was in so much space he could have got to the ball. Made me chuckle a bit.

Thats a ridiculous challenge. Cynical ones deserve more than a yellow imo.

"Taking one for the team". Theres no advantage for the attacking team.

Which is why it is a yellow card. Dangerous and violent conduct as well as denying clear goalscoring opportunities are Red cards.

I get that he didn't deny a goal scoring opportunity but he jumped on his back & made no attempt whatsoever to go for the ball, if he had done he probably would have got there first as Downing kicked it too far in front of himself.

It's not Yank football ffs!

You're not even allowed a high tackle like that in Rugby are you?

Can someone make gif of Paul Scholes' reactions after he got yellow, hilarious.

Tiote's 'moment' when the foul went the other way against Rooney.
