Valencia's scoop over the Barcelona players head. Insane skill. Don't remember what minute.
White shirt looks pretty slick actually
That?
we wouldnt be able to buy Nani in todays market
Yeah the rafrel incident was intriguing.
Mexico lobbed ball to Brazils half, Juan raced the Mexican offensive player and got to the ball, he had the option to pass to the keeper but kept it and out sprinted the Mexican. Juan passed it to rafael, who had a man on him and Rafael tried a ridiculous backheel. He conceded a foul and Juan shouted in his face and Rafael shouted back. Rafael then got subbed and gave the crowd a sarcastic applause.
ffs there goes his starting place in the brazilian squad.
All those Everton fans holding their heads at the same time.. Not sure what time it was, first half around 15 mins
That ball was a fecking rocket, much harder to keep out than it looks. Best save for me tonight.
Good point. Danish commentators said it was right at him so it wasn't that good a save, but he still needs to get his hand up and make it strong enough to deflect the ball. If I tried that save I think my whole arm would come off.
English commentators pretty much said the same but I thought it was a great save too. Not easy to react that quickly and it be strong enough to stop it. Best player for us tonight.
Don't know exactly when but in the second half, right after Osman hit the bar, we broke upfield and Kagawa played Welbeck through. The replay (I think) showed that Jagielka took Welbeck out from behind when he "tackled" him. That fat fecker Phil Dowd was at least 30 yards behind play, as usual.
Barely got one replay and only a passing mention in commentary but looked like an absolutely nailed on penalty to me. Any chance of another look?
Just outside the box I think Pogue.
If you look, the connection with Welbeck's foot is within the D.
But it would be touch and go for a red card.
