Corbyn must be peeved that Lucas gets to say all the stuff he wants to.

Sorry Nick, what did you mean by this?

Missed it if it was a retort to something else said.

Rudd alluded to the personal allowance earlier in the debate. I didn't even know about that top-up until recently, but at that level (12,500-15,000) it's not the pointless gesture some suggest it to be. Thing could be improved further of course, if the tax credit taper and Osborne's associated reforms were less severe. I was surprised at the Labour manifesto's lack in that regard.

'cut taxes for the poorest'

After inflation it's around the same, plus you increased VAT- which for people who spend every penny they earn is an overall increase..

The term airy fairy couldn't be used better than describing Caroline Lucas.

really annoys me that student fee's are such a big issue, the reason students from poorer backgrounds don't go to uni as much is becuase of their education at pre school or secondary school.
im have student debt, i come from a poor family, does that student debt make any difference to my life nope!

Dont think Labour will gain anything but the tories may lose votes here

Amber Rudd just dropped her guts.

Just answer the question. Ah, you can't...

The conservatives would have been infinitely better off with an empty podium.
