He can do that independently from the analysis of a lost game of football. He's putting a millstone around the team's neck every single fecking week.
Nope, they can manage that all by themselves.

You definitely have a point, every game we play it seems he ready to pounce and overly praising who we're playing and sticking the boot in.You can insult me all you want, doesn't change the fact that the guy is single-handedly responsible for setting the post match tone after every game of stern, merciless, moralistic doom--mongering and over-the-top apocalyptic ranting. Obnoxious twat, it's like Claude from AFTV -RIP- only on Sky and making newspaper headlines.
No other club has this problem, other teams can lose a game without this constant barrage in the media.
I’m 100% with you and it’s very much consistent with what Gullit also recently said about our ex players meddling in clubs business and having too much of a say and influence. Neville is an epitome of this problem, there’s a clear conflict of interest in my eyes as drama around United only plays in his favor, he gets to be more pumped up and raise emotions hence feed his ego and rack up the clicks and views. Many will say it’s a problem of all countries and cultures but the longer I live and the more I get to understand Europe no sports media scene is as toxic and such a challenge for the players and teams as the British one.He can do that independently from the analysis of a lost game of football. He's putting a millstone around the team's neck every single fecking week.
The general negative perception of United is exacerbated by Neville. Think of the knock on effect, it’s already a stressed environment and this doesn’t help the manager (which should be his priority if he loves the club so much). You lot are as bad as the people that think fan engagement graphs are important to running a successful football club.
You know what could help the ‘perception’ of United? Being run well.

This post is a great example of how to demonstrate a lack of understanding of the situation at our club. We have serious long term problems caused by our owners. Much bigger problems than Gary bloody Neville. It might be even more important than ousting the Glazers from the ownership of Man United to oust Gary Neville from commenting and punditry on Man United.
The guy and his impact on the perception of Man United is a serious, serious problem for any progress of your club.

He never actually implied Neville is more or even as responsible for the failure of United as a sports entity than Glazers, merely pointed out that Neville himself is arguably the single individual most responsible for setting the negative tone around the club in the British media sphere. Not living in the UK but following the TV and Twitter my fair bit, I’m inclined to agree with this.First of all, that was not an insult. Relax.
Secondly, what you're saying is so categorically wrong and moronic that it deserves nothing but ridicule. You're implying that Neville is more responsible for the disintegration of this institution than the owners of said institution are. Otherwise, why would you say that's it's more important to oust him as opposed to the owners who are actually responbile for all the negativity.
It's the sort of take that the people on Talksport would be embarrassed to utter.
It's not good for the team to have to listen to rants about the club's serious long term problems in every media channel every time the goalie makes a mistake. This post is a great example of how to demonstrate a lack of understanding of the situation at our club. Manchester United have the highest number of fans in the country. We always get a barrage in the media positive or negative. Whether feom Neville or some made up shite in the tabloids. The club generates clicks and views regardless. You can insult me all you want, doesn't change the fact that the guy is single-handedly responsible for setting the post match tone after every game of stern, merciless, moralistic doom--mongering and over-the-top apocalyptic ranting. Again not relevant to the post, but you go glen coco.Yeah, we should all be more positive. Didn't concede in the second half after all. fecking yay.
The thing is, the discussion is not only because the goalie makes a mistake. The loss might give an opportunity for the Glazers to become a talking point. But that is because they are to blame for the last 9-10 years of decline. It's not good for the team to have to listen to the club's serious long term problems in every media channel every time the goalie makes a mistake.
I agree with your overall point. He has too much influence with the club and fans and often comes out with utter shite. You can insult me all you want, doesn't change the fact that the guy is single-handedly responsible for setting the post match tone after every game of stern, merciless, moralistic doom--mongering and over-the-top apocalyptic ranting. Here's the video of the rant.
(Let's be clear that of course Jamie Redknapp is by far a much bigger idiot than Neville, but Redknapp is just a clown whom noone takes seriously anyway, so he's not our concern here)
Neville, in his minutes long rant, uses the words "complete inability to bring players in", "really desperate", "no leadership", "failing miserably", "decrepid, rotting stadium", "football club where they haven't got a clue", "not appointing a sporting director" (yeah....), "the club is rotten", "it's painful and it's woeful", a "toxic culture and atmosphere created at the club since 10 years"
It's the post match analysis of the second game under a promising new manager.
The second game.
It's not a discussion about the Glazers or the club's recent history, or a discussion about the stadium. It's the reaction to the second game under a new manager. Well, congratulations. The guy is a massive, massive problem. Ruud Gulllit is right.

That was an ironic point of course, given his today's punditry performance. The problem of your club's ownership is a problem on a very different level.Yes, he did. That's exactly what he did. He said: "It might be even more important than ousting the Glazers from the ownership of Man United to oust Gary Neville from commenting and punditry on Man United"
What this implies is, that what Gary Neville is doing, is more detrimental to this club than what the Glazers are doing. That the Glazers may have absolutely destroyed this once great institution and treated the fans with utter disdain, but Gary Neville comes on TV now and then and voices his frustration. Frustration that the majority of fans also share.
I'm not. I'm completely serious. He is not a United fan. Actually I think he's here to troll us.
That was an ironic point of course, given his today's punditry performance. The problem of your club's ownership is a problem on a very different level.
But the immediate problem before you is not the Glazers, but Neville's fecking miserable doom-mongering in the position of chief pundit of the main Premier League broadcaster.

Yep. Sky know how to get clicks.Another staged row.

You might just try to think about the point I'm trying to make. Think you'll find it's a good one.then the next plausible argument is that you have no clue what's been going on at United for the past 4-5 years or so.

No, you’re standing in front of the burning building screaming into the ears of the firemen “You’re doing it wrong you fecking wankers. You useless cnuts! Can’t even put out a fire. The fire is Timmy’s fault. I told you the paint was flammable. Useless fecking cnuts!”The building is burning down, but you're worried someone is shouting "Fire, fire!" too loudly. FFS.

The Glazers may be the root cause, but you and Neville and plenty of other posters here who are understandably hurting, are just pouring fuel into the flames. As the saying goes, if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.
The Glazers are Timmy. Ten Hag and Sancho are the firemen.Who are the firemen in your hamfisted bastardising of my beautifully elegant analogy? The Glazers?

Sorry the last sentence wasn't clear. My view is today was the managers fault. We have a team that shouldn't get thrashed by Brentford on paper. But Neville always has an agenda which he bends around results
