Garnacho signs until 2028!

Really glad that we have tied this young talent down for the next 5 yrs
A natural to be our next #7.

Great news, he's extremely talented, can easily see him being one of the most feared forwards in the country in a couple of years

The only issue I see is his best position is LW and Rashford who is on fire’s best position is LW. It’s a good issue to have.

Think this was already done for a while and just announced now? In one of his photos recently he didnt have that hair color anymore so this was probably signed before the injury.

Anyway, excellent news, let’s hope for many great seasons to come.

Great news, can’t wait to see him progress in the next few seasons

He was accused of flirting with Real Madrid and not committed on here because he wanted to play for his country just a few days ago :D

He could be a lot better than Rashford in a few years down the left. Iblove Rashford, but his dribbling is just awful at times, it feels like he runs into a player and does not know how to control his pace. Garnacho on the other hand can knock past a player with more ease. This guy is special so very with the news.

I love Garnacho and think he will be a great players for us.

However, hope that he is not on a silly big long term contract that may makes young player think that they already make it. Most of the salary hopefully is performance related.

Great news!! What does this mean for Rashford? Both play same position and his deal is up next season. Can't see a pathway for Garnacho as long as Rashford is here, unless the latter moves to being a striker which isn't his best position.
Rashford is like 7 years older than Garnacho, it's nothing to worry about

Great news that we have secured him for a while now. Hopefully he really kicks on now.

Why are people worried he’ll leave eventually? If he’ll be god-like so Real comes sniffing we’ll offer him silly silly wages and he’ll sign on. This was a troublesome contract, the next ones probably won’t be.

The only issue I see is his best position is LW and Rashford who is on fire’s best position is LW. It’s a good issue to have.
Thing is, it means if he pushes on he can deputise fort Rashford in some games, so Marcus is getting rest. Also if he performs it will keep Marcus on his toes, that he also has to perform to play. We don't want the production of this season to drop off if he gets complacent. They are good competition for each other. What we need is that striker up front as well.

Great news. He has progressed much more significantly than I initially thought this season. ETH has managed him well too.

“Thank you, [I’m] very proud.

“It's a great day for me and my family. And I have worked a lot for this moment.

“I want to say thank you to the manager first because he gave me the opportunity. And of course, my family, all Academy coaches, and everyone [who has] helped me so much.

“I wouldn't be here signing this new contract without their support.”

“It's been a positive season for me.

“Scoring my first goals, helping the team on with my first trophy. It's been a special year but it's just the start. We have to keep working, we have more work to do.”

“I want to say thank you to all the Manchester United fans for this incredible support.

“When I hear them saying my name, it means a lot to me.

“And I want to tell them that I'm giving 100 per cent every day to the team, and to make the fans happy.”

“I’m really keen to get back playing once again after almost a month and a half out.

“I can’t wait to get back to Old Trafford and hear the fans chanting my name, it really gives me goosebumps. I’m desperate to be back playing.

“I’m back in training again, so let’s see when I can be back in the stadium helping the team.”

“Nobody in their life would ever have imagined me, at just 18 years old, already winning a trophy with this club, Manchester United, having helped them to achieve that as part of the team.

“This really motivates me even more to want to win more things. In the end, I’m very ambitious and will not settle for having won one trophy.

“This season we’ve still got one trophy ahead of us to play for and we’ll be battling for it as hard as we can.

“And we also have the target of getting into the Champions League, of course. And with my ambition and my will to win, I feel even extra motivated.”

"This season I’ve been involved in some great games.

"Some not quite so good, but all of them high tempo and very intense.

"My favourite game was the one here at Old Trafford against Manchester City. I’d never experienced an atmosphere like it at any ground.

"I came on with us one-nil down and we managed to come back. I was able to provide an assist for Rashford for the winning goal and without a doubt, that was the favourite game of my life, ever."

"I’m going to pick the last one I scored [as his favourite goal so far], which was against West Ham.

"I’d played the whole game and I was feeling a bit tired but I was playing well.

"The manager had decided to keep me on the field and hadn’t substituted me. I’d shown enough in order to stay on the field to the end of the match.

"It was to make it 2-1 in the 90th minute to go through to the next round of the FA Cup. And now we’ve made to the final and we’re going to fight hard to win it."

Great news him singing contract. Next big player. He’ll shine under a manager like ETH. Any news when he returns from injury?

Great news - he has potential to be great player (he is already very good).

Apparently Martinez is the main one of the players who keeps him in line and you can tell by Garnacho’s goal celebration huddles that he treats Garnacho like he’s his kid brother, as opposed to one of the boys.

So Garnacho is in a pretty good place at this stage of his career. If this was a few years ago, it probably wouldn’t have been. We’re a good team regardless of him so therefore there’s no pressure on him to perform necessarily and we’re not heavily reliant on him to play every game which presents risks. He gets those sub appearances and the occasional start in a lower priority game.
