Well, De Gea is going to Madrid sooner than later (if not this summer then next summer) so I would take Lloris and Bale.Would you rather have next season: Lloris and Bale or De Gea and Memphis?

I'd go with any deal that involves Bale. He ripped up the PL before and any player who can win matches single handedly - like Bale - is a must. Depay could well become world class but Bale is the real deal. Tried, tested and proven in PL and CL football. What his move to Spain has given him is a winning mentality, couple that with the player who left Tottenham and he'd be unstoppable in this team.
Would you buy Bale at 80m even if it meant we had to compromise on the quality of other players we buy ?
Yes. I don't think there is a better signing we could makeWould you buy Bale at 80m even if it meant we had to compromise on the quality of other players we buy ?

I am certain bale would become a Utd legend and stay at the club without any issues for years
I think signing Bale will not hinder other targets. For what it's worth I don't think we should go anywhere near GundoganI just don't rate him as an £80m player. 50 or so would be justifiable. I'd rather we buy 4 or 5 very good players that we can build a CL winning squad around - Depay, Hummels, Carvajal, Dybala, Gundogan etc.

Cheers,
But yeah he would be my ultimate dream signing. Always felt he was destined to be a Utd player
And If getting bale means we miss out on some other targets, so be it
the problem is if your going to be as selfish as ronlado you have to be as good as him, and bale isnt, so a lot of the time just comes accorss as a greedy ball hog, hense allthe madrid boos towards him this seasonJust like Ronaldo every single season then ? These type of players are selfish and you just have to accept that because a lot of the time they end up scoring for you.

I think a much more logical deal would be something like 50m for Bale, with Hernandez and Nani thrown into the deal. They would be squad players (one of them already is) for Madrid, and would allow us to permanently remove Chicharito and Nani's wages from our books, get about 20m for them collectively, and use it to offset the ridiculous fee Perez would want for Bale to avoid looking like a wasteful muppet for what he originally paid Levy.
Why on earth would Real Madrid want Nani??
Bale is a league-winning signing Imo. We have to try.

Nani is a good player, probably on par with some of their current wingers who could add value to their squad.
No chance is he.
Even if he was, do they shop for players like him? No chance. They go top shelf, not bargain barrel.
Isco is brilliant. You can't club him with illararamendi, Jess and others. They've got players the calibre of Isco, Illarramendi, Jese, and others so its not like Nani is in a different category. A technical winger on good form with loads of CL experience, as well as experience with CR7. Completely plausible.

Yep. Especially this season, I think that he has outperformed most of their players, including Bale and Rodriguez.Isco is brilliant. You can't club him with illararamendi, Jess and others.
You're clearly saying Madrid also have "decent or goodish players". Isco doesn't fall into that bracket.I do. Jese is quite a player as well.

Jesé is just a talent right now. Nothing like Isco.
Rodriguez has been excellent of late, but yeah Isco has been far better than bale.Yep. Especially this season, I think that he has outperformed most of their players, including Bale and Rodriguez.
A season of being in form in Portugal isn't going to put him on par with a top performer at Real Madrid, I'm afraid.I disagree. An in form Nani could easily slot into their lineup. He's in another category when on form, which by all accounts, he has been for a good part of the year.

Yeah they didn't become completely shit and then go to their home country to recover their form.Tell that to the likes of Falcao, James Rodriguez, Angel di Maria, Pepe, Coentrao, and a litany of other former Portuguese league who have made a splash in Spain, many of which with Real Madrid, which more or less blows your theory out of the water.

Look, a properly in form Nani can play for any team in the world although i doubt he'll be a starter for a top team again (although it would be good). I just disagreed with your assessment of Isco, who you seemed to be clubbing with squad players.
Sure, depends on whether they want him. Jess is highly rated so another "squad player" I'm the front three would be a risk to his future which I'm not sure they'd want to take. I reckon if they let bale go another big name wide forward would be coming in.I'm not concerned with Isco, my main point is Nani is perfectly capable of making an impact at Madrid, which along with Hernandez, could be used to sweeten the pot in a potential Bale deal.
I really doubt that Madrid would touch him. First, they don't rotate. Second, they have enough players on attacking positions. And more importantly, they don't buy players like Nani. It is either a Galactico or someone who is famous on aa geographical area. Their last weird signing was Adebayore, but even that was as a short loan when they had Benzema and Higuain injured.I'm not concerned with Isco, my main point is Nani is perfectly capable of making an impact at Madrid, which along with Hernandez, could be used to sweeten the pot in a potential Bale deal.
why do you say that? He'd be a long way away from being a dream signing for me but I do agree he's destined to play for us and would be a huge asset. We've shown interest from the beginning, he'd be working under one of his national heroes and while we might not quite have the glamour of Madrid we're undoubtedly one of the clubs British players dream about playing for - particularly those who spent their entire youth growing up in the PL era.
I find it amazing how people can watch games like today and moan at how much Bale will cost. Bale has the potential to win games like today on his own and offers 10x as much as Young. He is exactly what we need and then some.
