Not good enough for us of course but still a decent player.
Bale looks a quality player. At 17/18 he looks set for a fine career.
He's 19 still rather young of course but Evra is better than him and I doubt he'd be able to push him out of the squad tbh , so he'd just be wasting away here would have been a pointless signing.
I did however want us to sign him to replace Giggs as a LM because I think his strenghts are going forward and he's not the best at defending from what I have heard / seen of him.
