The world will always laugh at Madrid. They went six years spending a lot of money yet only made the last 16 of the CL (if I remember correctly), the Madrid seniors just brush it off by spending a lot every transfer window and making the crowd go like the Despicable Me minion "Oohhhhhh".

Fantastic player, and is just as good as he would have been considered if he were joining us instead I believe he can match Ronaldo's achievements personally, and given their respective ages, if given a straight choice I would have rather we signed Bale this summer instead.
