Good player, but his negatives outweigh his positives these days.

We would be mad to pay what Real want. If we spend the cash, than at least make sure the risk is as small as possible. We shouldnt be sentimental about it.

I'd be over the moon if Lukaku and Bale were our two attacking additions this summer. Regardless of the very few negatives, that's a lot of goals!

yes. We should be aiming for this. Our attack is a long way off City and Chelsea and this would put us back up there.

Would totally change our attacking options, pace and goal threat. If we get him I would bet a striker arrives as well.

He's absolutely made for Old Trafford. If I could pick our first realistic signing it would be him.

Fantastic player but his recent injury record is a big concern.

We've also been linked with him every summer since he joined Madrid. It's getting boring now.

So if, in the very unlikely circumstance this happens, what number will Martial change to?
Maybe whatever number the club's he's at wants to give him? I have a bad feeling he's not going to be a United player next season. But it quite literally is just a feeling so not credible at all haha.

Love having the best British players at United. Would love to sign Bale

Too many injuries. He'd do well to play 10 games next season with our injury record. There are definitely other options (other than Perisic)

I've always wanted Bale, I think he's perfect for us. Going back to the PL would make him flourish again.

Bale + Varane for De Gea and $25MM. Add Lukaku for $65MM or so, plenty to kick some PL ass.

I would take a chance with him now that Greizmann is a no go. Rather Bale than any other player being touted. Even if he's injury prone. He knows the EPL and to me is better in the EPL. Definitely would see if a deal could be made.

He missed 50% of the league?

No thanks.

So when he missed half of last season injured, and about a third of the season before that, that doesn't concern you somewhat?

You're thinking about the player he was when he joined RM, not who he is now.

If Zidane dosen't play him today, I think he'll join us

If we thought jones is a sick note wait for this guy !

I'm actually at the point now with our injury record where I'd take Perisic playing every game over Bale playing half of them. What's the point in having players if they're never fit?

30m+games/goals bonuses and no DDG exchange. Shouldn't pay more upfront unless he proves his fitness.

Real will just bite our hand if we offer them that deal. Surely they would include Varane as a makeweight as well.

It's a non-starter.

This guy is basically a number nine who will get you 25 goals a season. No brainer! If we sign him, just hope he keeps fit

It depends what Perisic does in those games. Does he take on defenders and create danger, or pass it back to blind or Pogba?

I think we will try for him again this summer and this time Madrid will let him go provided they either get a) De Gea or b) Lots of money. How amenable we are to either option depends on our other plans for the summer.

Yes his injury record is a huge concern but he ticks all the other boxes. I think I would prefer us to gamble on getting a potentially great player than settle for a clearly inferior second choice like Perisic.

 That ought to tempt them to part with their Ronaldo replacement. Or wait, maybe we offer them Regan Poole plus £5m? That way they still keep the Welsh connection.

Bloody hope not, absolute crock of a player!

We won't get more than 20 games a season from him plus he is now getting past his peak where he will lose pace and pick up more injuries.

Pulling out of the Griezman deal seems to be backfiring now.

Interesting. I'm sure he could do the job, but has he actually been played as a 9?

Assuming he plays like he has been for Inter he'd generally be a threat, but we'd be a much more consistent team if we weren't forced to be without most of our players every so often.

If he'd of joined us post Spurs he'd of been a legend here.

But he chose Real and good luck to him, been a good move, winning trophies etc but for me that ship has sailed and I am no longer interested.

He'll probably go back to Spurs in a couple of years and be a shadow of the player he is.

He's not a cripple he's one of the best players in the world who has been rushed back time and again before he's ready.

He's made for us. Him, a striker and a center back and I would be chuffed.

Don't want Bale. He will cost too much and we will just fund Real Madrid's transfer kitty - again. Would rather go for a lesser player like Perisic who will cost less money but is less injury prone and will leave us with more money to spend on other essential positions.
