That scene where they cut back to King's Landing as the wildfire exploded in the distance was absolutely jaw-dropping. Is their budget so huge because they actually destroyed an entire armada?
I like LOTR, but there is far too much singing, poems and eating, half the time I felt I was reading the most retarded cookbook in history.
No book talk allowed in this thread so I've deleted that post.
Finally all caught up. I'm not sure how many more seasons I can take of dragon lady and her people walking around; whining, waiting for dragons to grow.
Its a bit silly we haven't seen that fire woman ever since she gave birth to smokey. You'd think the fact that she controls a shadow monster would be useful when invading a city.
Also, why did one of the King's guard turn on Tyrion at the end?

I think it was mentioned that it would be best not to bring her as the men might start to think she's in charge.
Yeah I just thought that was quite sudden and forced. And it cost them a war.
Earlier, she was always by Stanis' side and had a big influence on him. Ever since she gave birth, she's disappeared. Don't suppose Stanis would like to know why she gave birth to a monster when she promised him a son...
I agree with this, unanswered questions.
I'm guessing you've read the books then Cina.
The bottom line is that we all want 20 episodes a year![]()
No it's not. When Davos was questioning Stannis after he saw the shadow baby pop up, Stannis knew exactly what he was talking about. It's obvious that by then he knew exactly what Melisandre was planning with their 'baby'.
I have, but all that is in the TV show.
Erm, except maybe her name.

He was one of Joffrey's I believe so likely under the instructions of Cersei.

Christ, I won't answer any questions anymore then, even if I'm explicitly referring to scenes in the TV show.
Yes please. Beats me how someone who's read the books can "speculate".
To me the scene where Stanis is talking to his first-mate or whatever, and his mate is saying "leave her behind". Davos (googled his name) obviously saw that ghost monster shooting out of her vagina but we don't know what Stanis knows. We don't know if Stanis knows that she is evil, we don't know if Stanis knows she is magic, we don't know is he knows she is pregnant, we just have hints. And the hints aren't explained. "Until a son is born." -Does he think she is pregnant with his son then? *no mention of it* that is weird.
All we know is that Davos convinced Stanis to leave her behind because of her having too much influence on him. That was the argument.
