Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Anyone have any comprehensive YouTube compilations of all the seasons? I've looked but most of them don't seem all that informative.

I've seen all of the seasons but only once when they originally aired so I'm definitely very rusty on my knowledge of what's going on.
Not exactly what you're requesting, but I’ve found the character recaps as helpful as season by season recaps; not all are up yet...

Couple days to go. Shall i bungle the first season or the latest one!?

I'm still working my way through Season 5 at the moment and it's such a slog. I don't think I'll finish before the first episode of season 8 is aired.

My main worry is that it's going to be impossible to avoid spoilers. There will always be some knobhead on facebook, a thread on reddit or a BBC headline that will try and ruin it.

Anyone have any ideas on how to stop it from being ruined?
Yeah,I quit nearly all social media. Redcafe is the only one I use now. It’s liberating and no spoilers from any one.

I'm disappointed at the lack of leaked episodes!

The entire season has leaked!

It ends with Cersei becoming the night queen!!
Before anyone gets there panties in a twist..im joking.

I really hope this isn't true! I didn't want any spoilers just wanted to an early episode!

Ohh just saw the tiny white text, you're playing with my emotions now.

Never seen this until about 3 weeks ago. Binged watched every season apart the last. Must say it’s better than I thought it was going to be.

Hopefully I’ll have the energy to stay awake until it airs tonight. Can’t wait

First time I won't be watching a GoT season in one go. Prefer watching that way but there's really absolutely no chance of making it through without having the story ruined. Barely survived season 7.

I like it the old fashioned way, new episode every week.

I'm really stoked on the scared Arya teaser.

For some reason I thought there would be 8 episodes...

6 doesn't seem like enough to get everything done

Roughly 6 hours for what is effectively the final act. Should be enough to wrap up the major arcs as they all begin to converge.

I imagine the writers will leave a few unresolved plot lines for the spinoffs to pick up.

Less than 10 hours to go.

The episodes are much longer than normal, the first few are conventional 1 hour, but the rest are like 90mins+

In which case, we're roughly talking about the length of the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. Should be more than enough to conclude the major plotlines.

Anyone have any potential live rivers for this? Apparently I can’t add HBO to my TV service on weekends, it has to be done during the week. Silly me, but now I’m stuck for tonight.

I get different results depending where I look. Last I knew ep3 was gunna be about 85mins, but then I've just seen this:

  • • Episode one – 54 mins
  • • Episode two – 58 mins
  • • Episode three – 60 minutes
  • • Episode four – 78 minutes
  • • Episode five – 80 minutes
  • • Episode six – 80 minutes

Episode 3 is 82 minutes according to HBO.

Last time I checked which was a while ago it was the below:

Ep1 - 54mins
Ep2 - 58mins
Ep3 - 1 hour 22mins
Ep4 - 1 hour 18mins
Ep5 - 1 hour 20mins
Ep6 - 1 hour 20mins

The Mountain uses PEDs apparently. No mention of whether they were supplied by Qyburn however.

Same. I'll have to find a stream tonight.

I'd appreciate one, too!

Rewatching the show. It's amazing how in season 7 the dialogue becomes very Hollywood (and a bit corny). Also, the time travel (beam me up to Dragonstone, Johnny) is a bit much. One scene a character is in Essos the next they're on another continent. My least favourite season.

So AmI the only one not watching tonight and waiting to binge in six weeks? I tell ya, it makes the internet a lot more exciting trying to avoid spoilers for weeks and weeks :D.

 Brave man. 6 weeks is possibly pushing your luck too far unless you're planning on avoiding the internet entirely. People will be posting that shit everywhere, Youtube comment sections, titles of unrelated videos, gamer tags. Trolls gonna troll and that's before you get into websites spoiling stuff. Then there's people and their big mouths, you will get people that don't even watch the show asking people that do watch it questions just about things they've heard so they can seem in the know.

You're walking into a hellish nightmare and I wish you luck.

I did that with the previous seasons, and avoided any spoilers, but I'm not brave enough to try this season!

It doesn't help with YouTube recommendations on the front page posting stuff related to the newest GoT eps. I didn't watch the new Dragonball Super movie straight away and I was constantly having spoilers on the front page from people who had seen it. They were already posting clips of said movie a few days after it being released!
