Grey Worm definitely friendzoned by Missandei.

I stopped watching after season 3. Felt season 1 and 2 were the best. Didn't like the third season that much. Does it get better? Worth watching season 4?

Probably the wrong thread to ask this in. Of course it's worth watching!!

Haha. Is season 4 better than 3? :)

Trying to think off the top of my head what happens. Errrr...

I'd say so. Season 3 has a lot of place-setting and build-up before the big climax (like all the seasons, in fairness. Including season 4) However, I think there's more action interspersed in Season 4.

I may be mis-remembering though. Part of the problem is that I find it so engaging that even the slower, seemingly duller parts have me transfixed.
Season 4 also has a lot more progression in the story - although the pay-offs to a lot of these will come later. (that's an educated guess based on season 4. I'm not dropping any hints. I haven't read past the 2nd tome. Just thought I'd make that clear in case the more militant of the anti-book brigade latches on to it)

Regardless of whether it's slightly better or worse than the first 2 seasons, season 3 is still brilliant. So is season 4. 5 will be amazing too.

None of this is up for discussion. Screw freedom of speech.

From what I can gather from the trailer,

Khaleesi will have Tyrion on her side? Feck. She'd be too strong now.

Agreed with @Dante
I thought Season 3 was most shocking when watching it at the time and the build towards it was great. Season 4 had a lot of stuff happen right from the kickoff. Had a few moments of talking (obviously) but it was intriguing. (well except Sam and Gilly talking ugh)

Hadn't seen this thread before but just had a read back through at the key moments (Red Wedding, Oberyn etc).
Funny stuff! Whoever called the Robb Stark-Hargreaves thing is a genius. I knew he was someone but couldn't put my finger on it.

Also can't believe there are people who don't like Arya. Best character along with Tyrion for me.

Can't wait for season 5. I'm not sure if I'll watch week by week or wait the 10 weeks and watch all together.
That's how I watched the first 3 seasons and I enjoyed it far more than seeing season 4 with a weeks break between each.
I don't know how anyone watched it on Sky with the ads.

I've been convinced since he first got inside Hodor's head that the final battle will see Bran getting inside the heads of Danaerys' dragons to turn the tide. He's definitely going to ride one at some stage. I also have this weird feeling that Mellisandre is Jon Snow's mum

Think this thread might be fun this year as the show will be overtaking parts of the things we're not allowed to mention. All of us smug readers will probably get a few surprises too, which I'm kinda looking forward to.

Yeah, im currently reading the last book(roughly 500 pages left) and im considering finishing it before i watch season 5 since it will take a few jumps and most likely spoil the book for me. Very excited

Just finished a marathon of re watching the first 3 seasons, it's the amazing the things i forgot or didn't pick up on before.

Any scene that includes peter dinklage is just magnificent, loved this one specially in season 2:

Tyrion Lannister: Tell me, when your men slaughtered Ned Stark's men at the throne room, did you give the orders?
Janos Slynt: I did, and I would again. The man was a traitor. He tried to buy my loyalty.
Tyrion Lannister: [teasing] The fool. He had no idea you were already bought.
Janos Slynt: [angrily] Are you drunk? I won't have my honor questioned by an imp!
Tyrion Lannister: I'm not questioning your honor, Lord Janos. I'm denying its existence.

Sophie Turner and Natalie Dormer

I actually can't believe what Sophie Turner has turned into. She was a podgy, painfully annoying little girl just a few years ago. Now she's an absolutely stunning young woman with an incredible face structure and figure. How they would have known she would develop like the ugly duckling I have no idea. Brilliant casting.

SO after hearing how goof this was from everyone I gave it a go, expecting it to be good, but a slight let down after what it was worked up to be. I couldn't have been more wrong. Only nine episodes into the first season and I'm hooked. It really is enthralling and I would encourage anybody who put off to watch it. As long as you are comfortable with loosing any human contact that is.

That's the beat way to watch it.. I started following the show after the third season finale , saw the whole 3 seasons in 4 days flat..

I was so sad when I reached the end of series 4 earlier in the week. I'll never get to binge watch this amazing show again. :(
