Game 5: Turkey vs Croatia

You can just tell how much more knowledgeable he is about the game than basically all the other pundits. Very insightful. Also funny.
Wish I got some of this. I'm stuck with Richard Keys and Luis Garcia...

I still remember those last 2 minutes of there game from 2008... really one of the most astonishing endings to a game I've ever seen.

Turkey were incredible in that tournament.

It is Emre Mor who just signed for Dortmund from some Danish outfit. He is born in Denmark but chose to play for Turkey.

Edit: Croats, do you think we will get to see this guy dubbed the "Croatian Messi"?

Two new Messis in one match
Coric vs Mor. Should be brilliant stuff.

I'm really looking forward to this game. I have a soft spot for Turkey, so sorry Croat Caffers, but I have to root for them in this game.

Both game have some great attacking talent, but defensively, both look like they're there for the taking. This should be an entertaining game for sure.

Is Vida that much bettef than Vrsaljko? Really wanted to see the latter play. Also, Kovacic can't even get in their side anymore now? Oh how a move to Real can feck up your career.
Some taught it was a good move . Nevertheless, I would have loved to see him play today. I am also interested to see how Emre Mor plays if he comes in.

TEAM NEWS - Turkey (4-5-1): Babacan; Gonul, Topal, Baita, Erkin; Calhanoglu, Tufan, Inan, Ozyakup, Turan; Tosun.

TEAM NEWS - Croatia (4-2-3-1): Subasic; Srna, Corluka, Vida, Strinic; Modric, Badelj; Brozovic, Rakitic, Perisic; Mandzukic.

That could've been a goal there for Rakitic. Great run from him, and he was so close to getting a goal there for Croatia. Great start.

Rooting for Croatia here. Modric and Rakitic are a delight to watch imo.

Are there are any Turkish speakers over here? Does "tufan" mean "storm" in Turkish, or am I wrong?

Such a straight forward yellow card. This isn't much of a Turkey side and they foul to make up for it. Needs to be clamped down on early.

Poor free kick from Calhanoglu there.

Croatia seem to be having a great time out wide against Turkey. They need to target the wide areas more to get a foothold of the game IMO.

Same,got them at 25/1.

I think Bilic laid the foundations and did some great work with that team.

Still love them for stopping England getting to Euros in 2008.
