He’s still a young kid in the game who has created high expectations of himself. It’s tough when your opportunities are so limited, young players are prone to trying too hard to make a big impression whenever they get a chance. I think some of this is going on with Greenwood at the moment.

Yeah I agree. I also don't think it helps when we concentrate on playing it down the right either. Greenwood was better at supplementing Martial/Rashford who dragged away defenders, leaving space.

everything AWB does is at jogging pace. I know he is limited in attacking ability but if he could just makes his overlaps with a bit of urgency it might drag attract the attention of a defender and give Greenwood more space. As it is he usually passes it to him then strolls up alongside him.

Martial just walking around the pitch like he is playing a round of golf. Greenwood terrible as well with the movement.

Decent enough half for the most part, just some dumb moments from us. Need to be sharper. Wan Bissaka has been shit, Greenwood on the right is just really not good IMO. He can do it playing as an inside forward and really tucking in and running in behind... but they're telling him almost to hold wide and come deep, which is completely opposite to his natural game and it ends up being very ineffective.
